cards, where are the old timer cards?

I don't get it. Everywhere I look, it says this game has cards of players like Ozzie Smith. The challenge is turn a triple play get a Ozzie card, but I did turn a triple play and no card. I struck out 20 batters and didn't get a Seaver card. Are these cards real? Gamefly has them listed and so do several other sites. Am I doing something wrong or do these cards not exist?
