Why was the "Patch" thread deleted?

Was it to hide Ronnie's poor choice of words?


If you do not get the patch for a couple weeks, it wasn't because we didn't release it. It would be because Microsoft rejected it or kept holding it for whatever reason. I don't forsee that but I could be wrong. Can we please leave this discussion alone for the rest of the week? Thanks.

I didn't say that you didn't have any reason to complain. I just said that it would be nice when I said that I hoped the patch would be out around Opening Day for people to not start a new thread daily wondering "where is my patch today?" I also do have the right not to answer any questions and just leave you guys in suspense about everything. But I am actively trying to help. I understand your individual frustrations about the game but I am here on these Forums trying to get you some semblance of solutions. Please don't make me regret this and focus more on my other responsibilities.




Seems to me an apology to his customers, for being so curt would have been in order, instead of deleting the thread?

I'm glad they deleted it. The thread itself was another redundant question that has been answered in the above sticky.

When I came to the forums, I saw "PATCH!!!" My immediate thought was that the patch had arrived. Instead, the thread was just another post asking a question that has already been answered.

Maybe you should visit the sticky on top about "constructive" criticism. It has nothing to do with hiding anything. The thread went completely downhill and off-topic.
