Is it necessary? Doesn't seem to be. Is there a way to start warming one up while batting?

Not allowing users to warm up pitchers while they're at bat is a glitch in manger mode. It was the same way in 2k7, they should have fixed it. I don't warm up pitchers bcuz it is a major hassle since it can only be done when you're pitching. I'm not sure if warming them up makes a difference.
