GM glitch

Today I was playing my franchise with my friend, like we always do. I was the Angels and he was the Indians, if that matters since I know the Padres have a glitch. But I know that I turned the always offer GM contract ON. But after two seasons, the Angels didn't offer me a contract. So we wasted our time with the franchise because I wanted to build the Angels. Anyone else have this happen before? Anything to help? Thanks.

Did you get fired? Do they offer you a contract every year or maybe it is two, or three years?

That's the problem, I turned the option on where the owner is supposed to offer me a contract no matter how bad I do. And it's not because GM Goals because I turned them off too.

But yes they offer me a contract every year of two, and then randomly after like 5-6 years, they stop and say I must find a new team.

Yeah I know. I'm glad someone else has had the problem. But can I do anything to fix it? It's so frustrating to try to rebuild a team and then hit like year 4 and have to move to a different team, or even worse it says you must quit because no one wants me.
