does anyone use this, ive been thinking of great ideas for my stadium beats like uploading the fox sports net song to be played during the intro and after the innings and such just to add to the realism of the game a little. Also using "the charge" for in between pitches i think that would be awesome as well. Just one problem.. i dont know how to make it one specific song for each scenario.. do i just have to make multiple playlists with just one song? help needed

Yes, if you only want one song per player/event, then you have to make a specific playlist for each each song.
For my players, I personally just use one big playlist for all the players with a bunch of my fav songs, that way it plays a random song for the players, instead of the same one every time.
I also used an audio program on my PC to add echo/reverb to my songs so they actually sound like they are being played on the stadium speakers. And I edited them so I could use different parts of the songs instead of just the beginning.

I have done also the same for player beats. I used a bunch of songs and catergorized them for batter walk up. The only problem i have is that if my team is playing away and not at home. There batter walk up still comes on. Is there anyway to fix this. The batter walk up music is usually only played in the home stadium.

The way to fix it would be to use stadium beats instead of player beats. Go to you home stadium and set the playlist for home team batter walk up, then the playlist will only play for your players at their home stadium.

You have to save the songs as playlists in your Xbox Dashboard first. Then you can assign playlists to the players/stadiums.

I use Adobe Audition for editing songs, adding echo/reverb effects, etc :)

Sweet, thanks Jeff. I found a free 30 day trial version that Im planning on using in the near future.. Is it fairly easy to create the echo effects? Are there any specific settings, tweaks, etc. that you could pass along to me so I won't have to mess around with it myself? Thanks in advance.

Here is the easy way to add echo effects in Adobe Audition:
Load up an Mp3 then go to Effects >> Delay Effects >> Full Reverb
There are different presets there. I like to use the "Church" preset because it sounds the most like a stadium.
I also use different chunks of the song, so that way the chorus or whatever will play in 2K8 instead of just the intro. To edit out chunks, just drag your mouse over the parts of the song you want to get rid of, and hit DELETE on your keyboard.
Then just save the file as a wav. Once you have a bunch of them, burn them to a CD, rip to your 360, save them as playlists, then apply the playlists to your players/stadium beats.
Any more questions, let me know and I'll be happy to help. :)

with that adobe program do you still get all the features on the free trial that you would get with the real deal or is it limited access?

I don't know if you'll like the songs I have. They aren't official players songs. Mostly classic/modern rock stuff, just random songs I like. Couple examples: "Takin Care of Business", "Enter Sandman" by Metallica, etc. If you or anyone is interested, I could zip them up for you. Send me a PM.
As for the trial of Adobe Audition, I think it is basically the same as the full version, but it's been a long time since I used the trial.

one more thing, you can rip the songs off of a flash drive cant you? or does it strictly have to be a cd?
jeffy777
April 4th, 2008, 09:32 AM
I'm not sure about the flash drive. I don't have a flash card, so I never tried it.
So are you saying you would like me to add echo to the fox song?
jeffy777
April 4th, 2008, 09:38 AM
OK guys, you can find my collection of rock songs with stadium echo/reverb added HERE (http://strongfamily.us/music/)
You'll notice some songs have several different versions. This is because I broke the song up into 45 second chunks, using different parts of the song such as the intro, chorus, etc. That way it keeps the songs more fresh in the game because you don't here the same part every time :) And the game never plays more than 45 seconds of a song anyway.
