Hi,

Is it true that the only way to unlock players cards, which in turn unlock stadiums, throwbacks, etc is to only play on the default settings for Pro, All-Star, etc.

Once you change any of the settings you are unable to unlock trading cards? correct??

No, this is not true. I really wonder where this rumor got started from. This is at least the third time that I have answered this question in a week. I have a couple of different 'chises going on and none of them are on the default sliders for any particular level of difficulty. I have custom sliders for all my 'chises and I still earn player cards in every single one of them.

I haven't unlocked any stadium cards and I don't exactly know what has to be done, but then again, I don't care a whole lot about that either. I have earned the throwback jersey cards for a couple of different teams, and again, I am playing on custom sliders.

I think the confusion is based on player cards vs. wild cards. Your chance of getting wild cards while using custom sliders is significantly reduced. But getting player cards (ex. get 2 hits with player X in a game) are completely unaffected by moving the sliders.

From my understanding, stadium cards can only be acquired through packs, which can either be purchased with credits (by selling the cards you earn), or when a wild card you earned turns out to be a pack. Throwback jerseys can be acquired via in-game accomplishments (like player cards) or by wild cards/packs.
