Player Numbers

Is there any way to change the player numbers with in the game. I'm currentley in a franchise with the Mets and I had Luis Castillo get hurt. The guy I called up for him wore # 1. When Castillo came off the DL I sent the guy down and Castillo was #7. Now Reyes is #2 and some how Wright is # 8 and Santana Is # 56. Is there any way to fix this. Its just annoying as hell to look at.

go into your roster, then click on the player, then click edit player...it should be one of the first few options on the first screen...your welcome
