Now I am sorry to admit that I was one of the people that suggested Tom Tolbert, a glitch in the matrix, let's forget about that. Charles Barkley is funny he definitely should do it, but you can't have two color commentators be announcers. You need one straight guy that gives play by play and the other person does color commentary. Look at all sports you see that there is a play by play announcer, a color commentator usually an ex-athlete or coach, and sometimes another announcer. Although charles, kenny, and that other guy are on on tnt, it wo uld be cool to have them announing because you would have the white guy do play by play, and charles and kenny do color, but yall make the suggestions here, I screwed up suggesting Tom last year.

Yes, 3 different guys would be great. I think it wouldnt get as old as fast. Some things this year sound exactly the same as 2k3, its like the just added Tom Tolbert to previous 2k commentary. This years has got to be one of the worst, Tom Tolbert is great on TV but terrible in Video Games.

I can hear Barkley now - "Manu Ginobli is a Stud"
Walton-"Throw it down! Big man, Throw it down!"

Nobody would be that bad, including Tolbert, if they just broadened the phrase library. You hear the same phrases at least five times a game.

Real commentary would come from them implementing stories and comments about players abilities instead of straight play-by-play (think ESPN NFL).
I welcome having Bill Walton as much as anyone - he's easily recognizable and very energetic. I also am in favor of having Stuart Scott do the reports from courstide - coach/player interviews before the halftime (he would report about it, not actually have one), injury updates, timeout reports, etc.

That is a great idea! Bring Brad Nessler to the mix as the head commentator, and then Bill Walton and Charles Barkley. Now that's real commentating for ya! :D

Sir Charles is affiliated with Turner Broadcasting, not ESPN. Probably not possible to get him.

I'd like to hear Walton, and then Stuart Scott as the courtside announcer.
