Not able to sell or exchange cards

I've been getting this error for about 30 minutes now. Whenever I try to exchange my Wild Cards or sell duplicates for credits, it tells me that it cannot do it right now and to try again later or to check my network connection. I'm obviously online since I am signed into live. But when I try to go to the XBox Live menu in the game it takes a long time to load up, and then when it finally does, I can't do anything.

I don't understand why this all has to be tied into Live. It makes sense tying to trading with other people into using Live. But why should I have to visit the XBox Live menu in game to just sell duplicates or get my Wild Cards exchanged?

I still haven't been getting trade offers from people who have told me they've sent them as well.

Any word on what the deal is?

servers are probably down - happens to me on my PS3 a couple times a week.

I think XBL had some maintenance , i got a message from them last week about it, I had the same problem last night

Ya I remember that message, think it said maintance was on what this past monday for a few hours? What they do install a new server or something

I'm still getting this crap... and it's getting really, really old. I thought at first... maybe the Live maintenance had something to do with it. But it's been going on since Wednesday and now I'm pretty sure that it's a 2k server issue. Which is by far making me more frustrated than the always delayed patch.

Oh this is really getting on my nervers also. I can't trade any cards to get a new pack. Can't get any new cards unless I sell dupes. I think it is time for me and 2k to part ways. These half finished games with these server problems are just driving me bonkers. Time to dust of the PS3 I hear their baseball game is pretty good. Other than that I really hate 2k right now. With the no basketball directions to me not being able to sell my friggin cards or online being just too damn fast to play... It is enough to push me to EA....

I think the millions of people trying to download the map packs and title update for CoD 4 is killing the XBOX servers. Hopefully it will clear up soon.
