The panthers look to pick up first win
The panthers came into Connecticut pumped, exited, and hungry for a win, but things didnt go as they thought. In the first half Central Connecticut came out cruising, leading early 18-6. They continued to play the same, knocking down 3's after 3's, which gave them a 38-19 lead coming into halftime.
The second half went alot better for the panthers, as they managed to give it to Martin a couple times for easy 3's. Panthers came within 6 points late in the fourth, but Blackwood then got on a role, and couldn't be stopped. The Panthers leading score was Martin with 19 points coming of the bench, and Perry put up 17 with 3 dishes. the blue devils were carried by Blackwood, who hit 7 3'pointers, and finished the game with 25 points.

ohh the good days where you start out with a horrible team and make the climb up to the top. Dorlack looks to be a beast for your team. Hopefully he is consistent when you need him to be.

C. Conn St. Is a ***** to play. Blackwood drained 5 straight 3s in 5 straight posessions on me and he got them to within a few (2 Times) but i won them both. i also lost to them earlier in my legacy season (im in the same conference and i played them in the NEC tourney) they are a really good team.
Nice 2 wins after that thou

Coaches Comment- " Im very disapointed in the way we play in the Hawkeye Challenge tournament, and how we played in the last 4 games. Hopfulley this 4-Game losing streak doesnt affect the way we play in confrence play, but its hard to believe it wont".
Next Game-
