Smaller school. Duke has been done. Normally last a few weeks and person gets bored becauase its to easy. That is my personal expierence. I have seen several legacys were Duke is available after year 6. So I say start closed and try and work for Duke if that is where you want to be.

Duke is boring. Closed is where it is at. I have a thread on here wit my LIU squad, and its fun. I have been thinking about starting an open legacy with schools that i am actually thinking about attending in a few years in real life, but i am having fun in LIU Season 3

idk just dont pick one that people already have threads about. Long Island, Princeton, just look at the first page and those you probably shouldnt pick

o also, i recommend Arkansas State and Central Arkansas. I think it ws those 2. they were my 2nd are 3rd choice behing Long Island, and nobody else is using them. They're not bad for a closed legacy team.
Actually now that i think about it i dont htink it was Ark St. maybe Alabama State. There was another Arkansas team to choose i cant remember what the name was thou.

I would look through the boards and cross off those already being used. Personally I am a west coast guy, so I tend to look for teams there like UC Riverside,Sac State,UC Davis,N. Colorado. None are currently being wrote about but all have been used, but its always fun to see how others do with them. I also love recruiting in Texas so Texas State,Texas Southern, Praire View are all good teams.
However if Duke is your goal you might want to look east coast and build up a rep there. Maybe SC Upstate,The Citadel(very young) Charl Southern(Great 3pt shooters), NC A&T. These teams have been used in the past but not currently being written about either.
A team that I don't think anyone has done this year but Knox did last year and made amazing was Morehead State. I also don't think I have seen on for St Francis NY or Kennesaw St.
Personally for me I like a team with a couple decent 3pt shooters prefer 1 of them to be a FR or SO so I have a guy that can score until I bring in my guys and I also like 1 big man prefer 6'8 or taller so I have a post player.
Good luck. I will be keeping a eye out to see who you pick.

I reccomend The Citadel. Them or Dartmouth maybe, because I think a Dartmouth legacy that was going is dead now

Sacremento State isnt a good team, but a few years back i used them because they had Jameel Pugh. He was in the dunk contest, and i thought he was the coolest person ever. Almost picked them as well, but they just werent good enough. But i may start a new one soon depending on where my LIU one takes me, and i am pickin SAC ST.
Again, i think one of the Arkansas or Alabama teams are a good choice. Or maybe even a West Coast team. Also, pick a team in a conference that doesnt suck balls or isnt fun to play. In ym first season i had good competition, then all the good players (SENIORS) graduated, so i was soo damn good compared to the rest of the conference i sim most of the conference games. thats my least favorite part of being Long Island, and i want to get a new job basically just for that reason

'bama state is pretty tough and plays in an "up for grabs" conference...I ran a closed legacy with them for a couple seasons and it was a blast. I never won the regular season conference title, but I did win the conference tournament my second season and got to get smashed by UCLA in NCAA Tournament:dance:

I would say not to do a Duke one. Only on the sole fact that jjredick4 who is a big poster on legacies on here hates the Blue Devils and you don't want him to not follow your legacy. Just my two cents though. lol :)
