sorry if this has been answered before... I just got interested in the game
will there be a career mode in the game? I'm surprised there is little information about the game ... for a game that will be released in two months.
btw I love how they are trying to make the game more realistic not only from a graphic perspective but also gameplay (ex. fatigue system and the heartmeter thing seems to be interesting).

I haven't bought a Tennis game yet (only got a 360 a few months ago). So I am looking to get one, but haven't played Top Spin yet besides the Demo.
So can you tell me what the Career Mode will be like or what it was like in the past. There aren't many real players on the game, so do u go against made up ones as well trying to improve your ranking in tournaments or what?
Thanx.

yeah, you will go up against made up players and real players
hands on review from XBox official magazine has a nice spread about the game... they saying in multi player you have to take your turn on the far side of the court and you stay on the bottom in single player...
after reading the review i got the feeling the new swing system will ether be loved or appalled and they said it will tick you off at first and you have to be just right to hit a good shot.....also if your not in good position the ball will do funny things like bounce off your face
in career you will start out on local play grounds, move up to formal leagues at local colleges and the on to the junior tour, if all go's well there then we will see you in the pros
all agree it looks very good on the 360 and plays good....but I'm now a little worried after reading the review about the new swing system as they go out of there way to say 2 or 3 times to say it can be difficult.

Thanx for the info on the career mode. So do u have to have a certain amount of victories or ranking to make it to the pros?
Also, do you have a schedule or chose events to do or what?
Thanx.

the only mention about how you advance in the review was...quote:::: while the career is the standard noob-to-god path, the structure isn't. you start out playing on a local playground, move up to more formal leagues at local colleges, and eventually earn an invite to the junior tour. put in a good year there, and you can get invited to the pros and beyond.....end of quote.
about the schedule or chose events...i don't say,but it has a very small pic at the bottom that shows a screen that looks like its where you manager your player, the pic was taken in the junior career part...on top it says junior-September on the top left it has what looks like a news paper with a snap shot of you in action top middle to left what could be a news article, bottom left stats like season record, season points, season rank...middle bottom looks like is where you can pull up your calendar, player profile and leader board. bottom right is your last match results and what might be your stats...like i say its small....
some of the big pics looks good. the crowd looks fantastic and the stands are full. they call the animations and lighting remarkable.
they gave it a score of 9.0...
there verdict
+ ingenious new controls
+ slick career and world tour
- no true four-player online doubles.
? when is 2k sports going to start designing menus that don't hurt to look at.
hope this helps
