However, very strange...They included it in TS2...no RG was present in that game...now they have French Open but no more Wimbledon...no words...

It is possible that it will be available for download in the future. But most of you won't be as concerned when the game does release, because it is THE best tennis game. Ever.

Many of my "So-and-so isn't on the roster." and "Why isn't Wimbledon in the game?" complaints were completely overshadowed by how good the gameplay is.

If I am not mistaken Wimbledon does not have a union type of group to deal with so it's not easy to negotiate with them to get wimbledon in the game. My guess is that they simply did not have enough time to get through negotiations and get the venue in the game. It will most likely be available for DLC after the games release.

I do agree that is does kinda suck to have some made up venue in place of it but if I am not mistaken Roland Garros wasn't in one of the first two top spin games so it's not as if it is unprecedented.

Wimbeldon is included but only with another Name so where's the Problem?
You Guys should really care about the important points like how good the Gameplay is for example. :D

We got three original licenced Grand Slams in the Game like Roland Garros, US Open, Australian Open and one Wimbeldon-like Grandslam Court just with another Name. It's cool like it is and perhaps we get the original licenced Wimbeldon with a DLC also.

I agree with Placebo, if its not named Wimbledon then its not Wimbledon which means no Wimbledon logo, no Wimbledon scoreboard, no Wimbledon trophy, and so on.
And I would bet everything that it is going to be a DLC. Why? So, they can get more money out of us of course!

Don't worry, there probably won't be any DLC to even bother paying for. Oh, they use it to promote the game, but actually getting around to releasing it - that will be another story. Just look at the MLB DLC. So, it may be 2009 before you have to worry about paying for Top Spin 3 DLC.

Why would any sane person pay more money to get something that 2k were too cheap or too lazy to put in the game in the first place? Isn't $60 enough to pay for a game? I think it is and certainly won't be paying for any DLC.

60$ is more than enough for a game but unfortunately more than 90% of the people will pay for ANY extra players or venues.
