Thinking about buying...

After reading the glowing review of Top Spin 3 on OXM magazine, I'm thinking of buying it.

Is the game really good and will it keep me interested in playing for awhile, or will it just get real boring and repetitive fast like TS1 did.

Any suggestion? TIA

I wrote a preview in another thread based on my experience with the game, if you want to read it. But if great games like TS1 bore you quickly, you may not care for this game. The gameplay in TS3 seems that it will take longer than the other two to master, but the big change to me is the apparent strategy that will be involved while playing the game. In TS2, every created player had speed maxed out online, so online play became very boring, I thought. TS3 has done away with that blip, so power players will now be able to compete with the speed players. So now you should see a more diverse playing field. That alone will keep most TS3 owners playing online much longer.

Anyway, don't think. Buy.

its all about speed for some, and ive read all this 'gameplay great now u can do differing power on shots'.

As i mentioned in my thread about swerving the ball, surely thats more realistic than worrying about the power of the damn shots.......ok, we need both factors in the game.

Heres hoping, and i want to see CPU players shots reacting in this way too, not just the shots i make.
