Dwight Howard cover athlete for 2K9?

Has anyone else heard or seen this rumor, I've seen on a couple of websites that he maybe the cover athlete. Hell has anyone seem any news about NBA 2K9 period???? When is 2K gonna start release some info?

It was mentioned before. But, as of right now, it is what it is, a rumor and speculation. 2K just announced the cover athlete for NHL 2K9 last week and that game usually ships about a month before the NBA game. So I imagine it will be a couple more weeks until we hear some stuff regarding NBA 2K9.

KG & D-Wade did Live already, D -Howard is not showing much more of his game other than dunking and rebounding(Detroit exploited his game),so doubt him, Andre Iguodala no cause he hasn't been consistent, KD needs to improve, TP and Dirk maybe if they have an international cover, Nash no defense would be an insult to the game, B Roy & J Smooth still improving. Yao Ming injured, Deron Williams is not better than CP3 so he will repeat again before they put him on, Baron Davis isn't the idea PG in alot of peoples eyes, C Bosh no because why not Amare, so really the only choices is Lebron James and CP3 again. and it is going to be Lebron because he is the face of the NBA in alot of peoples eyes, the best all around player behind Kobe, and he hasn't had a game cover yet. But don't get me wrong CP3 has a damn good chance at repeating looking at what he accomplished this year and more than likely 2K is looking to improve and not build.
