Look 2K you know your game better than anyone else and you also know that when you guys ship it those standard ALL-PRO, Legend, etc. etc. are not the best this game could be. When you guys create the online lobby system you MUST create a RANKED SIM lobby.

But, what would keep people who don't play sim out of the sim lobby? I think the 2k rating system works just fine in terms of finding sim games.

I'm talking the way the game plays. I'm in one league where we're using custom sliders and the game is a whole lot better. No more dunking through people like they're paper. When you setup your play and run it right a dunk is much more rewarding. Defense is more realistic on both ends of the spectrum. What will keep the non-sim out of a sim lobby is the inability to get the cheese off as effective as the other lobbies. If anyone wants a taste of how this game should be played let me know and we can run a few in the custom lobby, nba 2k8 that is.

I'm finding that you can help to avoid some cheese by adjusting those sliders for league play...right now I've only focused on 3pt shots in my league...but when we get to season 2...I'm going to go deeper into trying to maintain that balance of inside play/midrange/behind the arch...

The closest I always thought that 2K could get to creating a sim-like lobby was to have lobbies in relation to feedback %'s...

Usually the gamers with the higher feedback %'s play more sim then the lower one's...

Can't be done now...but if they scratched the system and started over...then there could be a way where if you were 60-69% you could only play in that lobby:

70%-79% you could play in 60-69% if you wanted to

80%-89% could play in the last 3 lobbies

90%-99% could play in any lobby

It would have to start from scratch to allow everyone the chance to grow and form their opinions on how they're going to handle themselves in games.

Not an exact science; but for the most part the higher the % the more you'll find sim based gamers...

I think they should make a superstar mode. You start out like in as a created player. Then you do development drills to tell how you are. After that you can keep working on those until Draft Time. Then if you get picked then you work with that team and if you dont, then you wait till you get signed by doing drills to get urself better. Add a running drill PLZ. Then get signed by Jordan,Adidas, Nike, Ect.In the offseason you can be Invited to USA Team. Another whole thing is to carry this to Xbox Live by doing 1 on 1 with other Live members.
