Team Play
We all know how bad live is but team play online is fun, even with its bad game play. This was a great concept for a bad game. If this could be implemented in NBA 2K9, with a few tweaks to how games get set up this could be a good look. Maybe even ranked team matches. Team play leagues and tournaments.

It's so much fun on Live. The only problem that I could see is the guy who controls the team's superstar. If they are unselfish, everyone will start to pass more and it makes the experience so much more enjoyable. But if the guy doesn't pass then it spoils the fun for everyone.

no created players, but maybe have a 70's 80's and 90's lobby, so you can find competitive games not just bos v la...that was a large problem w/live, still was fun though

whats wrong with created players? they could have face-mapping technology and everyone could start out rated a 50 and increase their points by winning games and doing good.

im glad other people are posting this!!!!!!!! I LOVE NBA2K series, but have not played it much because the team play for live is so much fun. 2K has to bring this to us. Live08 is like playing NBA2K5.

I want this for 2K as well! also be cool if they added stats and all that. for example:
Favorite Position - [SG 54% *chosen 27/50 games played*]
Hot Spot on the Court - [Corner Three 46%*taken 56/121 shots*]
Type of Player - [Up-tempo Scorer]
Favorite Team to Use - [Boston Celtics 46% *chosen 23/50 games played*]

it would be tight if you could do this especially in black top mode where you could play as your favorite player. this is one of the things i like about live and one of the only things i do with it. if 2k add's it (especially with all of the off ball things you could do like the pg sending you a message to cut to the basket or get open) it would be unbelievable.
