I have had it with 2k8 for ps3

It Has the worst online play most inconsistint shot relase timing, cheap non realistic defence, poor button reaction time ( like 1.5 seconds) The game looks great but thats were it ends. I have been playing since sept when it came out hopeing it would get better as i got used to it but still after 9 mounths its still has way to many negatives Like inconsitant shot release on 3's.. No way to stop kobe or labron from dunking any time they want and my fav the inbound pass that goes flying out of bounds no were near the pg im trying to inbound the ball to. and lets not forget pushing up on the right stick to put hands up while defending takes a good 2 sec for player to finnaly put his arms up and by that time the ball in being inbounded after the made 3... slow *** reaction time kills this game. every time i play i get fruserated it never fails.... 2 k 9 please fix all the glitches and give up a great game 500 for the system and 2k8 is trash.. looks great playes horable.

I have a different experience from you. I always come back to 2k8 when another game has become boring. Sports game have the best online and gameplay is never repetitive. I have had the game since launch day and I've played a crapload because of the ongoing competition and fun level.

I agree with you Scottie! But only when I play online. When playing offline the game tends to lag pretty much when it should be the other way around. For instance when I play offline against friends the game lags so much that the whole experience gets ruined. But as soon as I get back online and play my dudes the game floats flawlessly.

I bet this issue is something 2ksports are working on to fix on 2k9.

It might be your internet connection that is making the game lag. So play offline against the CPU or play against your friends.

I sign-off the Playstation Network and the gameplay is soo much smoother offline. You can also disable the ticker. PS3 online doesn't have more online issues than xbox live... ps3 actually has dedicated servers for particular games when live has none.

the only problem i have is that there arent have any ps3 lg sites
