I love NHL! But I just watch NHL on TV in my country.
Anyway please answer me.

I wonder what the scratched playerws are. If someone is injured, he is scratched os what? Then what is minors and unsigned? How many players are in rosters?
Please let me know.

ok....Basically to play game you need to have 23 ACTIVE Players...which must consist of 12 forwards, 6 defenseman, 2 goalies, and 3 scratched players.

SCRATCHED players are on your team...but they're just not playing. They're sitting up in the stands watching.

If someone is INJURED they will automatically be scracthed. You can assign this player to INJURED RESERVES, which means that he does not take up one of your ACTIVE roster spots. He's still part of the team, Just taking some time off to get better.

MINORS is where your not so good players go to play. You send a lower rated to player to the minors hoping that he will improve his game. Again they are part of your team but they are not one of your ACTIVE players.

UNSIGNED...it means you haven't signed him to a contract. Someone who is UNSIGNED is a free agent and is capable of signing with any team. I assume you're talking about free agents.

hope this helps.
