Create a team on Franchise Mode??

I created a team in nba 2k8..is there a way i can bring it to franchise mode and start a franchise with my created team? I can't find out how?

the only way i can play with my created team is if i do playoff mode or just a quick game...

please help!

at the start of franchise mode it says customise team its on no, put it on yes then get rid of a team like 76ers or some team try find your team name
