True... the dolphins should only have 6 stars instead of 11!!! Haha... thats why I'm asking, I don't follow them so I don't know who should be what tier.

I was gonna post a Dolphins team to help you. Mine was almost exactly like this except I had Matt Roth. (he's from Iowa:D )

I don't think you will have Jason Taylor for very long...

I haven't validate this, or checked it in several weeks, maybe a month, but here's a Dolphins team I was working on, but never created.
Gold
OLB - Joey Porter #55, 6-3, 250, Colorado State (Pass Coverage, Run Coverage, Wrap Up Tackler, Footsteps, Quick Feet)
DE - Jason Taylor #99, 6-6, 255, Akron (Pash Rush Bonus, Run Coverage, Rip, Clutch, Leadership)
Silver
ILB - Channing Crowder #52, 6-2, Florida (Run Coverage, Wrap Up Tackler)
CB - Will Alen #25, 5-10, 196, Syracuse (Ball Strip, Bump Master)
T - Jake Long #79, 6-7, 315, Michigan (Brick Wall, Bulldozer)
Bronze
QB - Josh McCown #4, 6-4, 213, Sam Houston State (Rocket Arm)
G - Justin Smiley #65, 6-3, 311, Alabama (Brick Wall)
HB - Ricky Williams #34, 5-10, 226, Texas (Power)
WR - Earnest Wilford #18, 6-4, 223, Virginia Tech (Tough In The Middle)
TE - David Martin #88, 6-4, 265, Tennessee (Bulldozer)
CB - Mike Lehan #22, 6-0, 190, Minnesota (Pass Coverage)
It's not a very good team, but neither are the Dolphins and I think it represents them fairly well at this point, though Taylor may lose the Leadership with all of the Dancing with the Stars / Negative relationship happenings. The Dolphins definitely don't have ANY Gold tier or Silver tier offensive players at this point (QB, HB, WR, TE).

Ronnie Brown's not a gold? He's not even on your version of the team. He was one the league's leading rushers before he got hurt.

That's what I was gonna say, how can you have Ricky Williams instead of Brown.

I'm a UT fan, so I had Williams in there even though he's a pot head. Brown might warrant a Silver, but quite honestly no on on the Dolphins team has shown they are Gold quality on the offensive side of the ball yet.

Bear with me... I don't know much about the Dolphins. If anyone has any suggestions let me know. Also, I might drop Jay Feely for a DB... My secondary is going to get toasted with all the gold receivers in my league.
Gold
DE Jason Taylor (Leadership, Closing speed, Pass Rush, Club, Quick Feet)
HB Ronnie Brown (BAB, Cutback, Quick Feet, Soft Hands, Finesse)
Silver
OLB Joey Porter (Leadership, Run reader)
CB Will Allen (Ball Hawk, Coverage)
DE Vonnie Holliday (Pass Rush, Strength)
Bronze
OT Jake Long (Bulldozer)
WR Ted Ginn Jr. (Speed Burner)
WR Ernest Wilford (Strength)
ILB Channing Crowder (Wrap up Tackler)
FS Jason Allen (Closing Speed)

The 07 Dolphins were a real mess, due to a lot of factors, and if you could exchange a Gold for a Bronze in APF 2K8, it would better represent the team as it rebuilds.
Since you can't, and part of the fun of APF 2K8 is having each team "equal" anyway, here is my suggested version:
Gold
OLB Jason Taylor (Leadership, Closing speed, Pass Rush, Pass coverage, Quick Feet) He plays more OLB than DE in a 3-4 defense.
HB Ronnie Brown (Strength, Workhorse, Break away burst, Soft Hands, Brickwall )
Ronnie was headed for a Pro Bowl season before the ACL tear in 07. He really should be no more than a Silver, but oh well....
Silver
OLB Joey Porter (Leadership, Pass Rush) He was slowed by a knee scope in 07, but Joey is best when he's rushing the QB and being an outspoken leader.
CB Will Allen (Speed burner, Pass Coverage) On a 1-15 team, Will was actually very good in 07. Hands of stone though, but has top speed.
NT Jason Ferguson (Reach tackle, Strength) The core of a 3-4 defense is a NT like Jason, who was brought over from the Cowboys.
Bronze
OT Jake Long (Bulldozer) Run to the left with Brown, a lot.
WR Ted Ginn Jr. (Speed Burner) Use Global Subs to put him in as a Kick Returner every game.
WR Ernest Wilford (Tough in the Middle or Hops) Big, physical WR.
TE Anthony Fasano (Bulldozer) Brought over from the Cowboys to mainly block.
SS Yerimiah Bell (Speed Burner) Injuries have kept him from breakout season.
K Jay Feely (Kick Accuracy)
A generic QB works fine, until McCown, Beck, or even Henne prove themselves as NFL caliber QBs. On offense, run and pass to Brown as he is the primary weapon. The deep passes will be tougher with a generic QB, so work the quick slants and outs to move the chains. On defense, use a lot of 3-4 Cover 2 Man (Taylor or Porter will be rushing) and mix in some Zones to try and confuse the offense. If you go to Nickel, remember to sub Porter back in and get rid of the generic ILB.
Oh, and have fun...

When did Jason Taylor turn into a OLB? Did the Dolphins just move to a 3-4? And won't Taylor be pass rushing pretty much all the time when he plays LB?

Guav?? Iwant him to be a prolific returner...

Like I said on the other thread, he's a bronze.
And I just checked nfl.com, and the Dolphins run a 4-3, so Jason Taylor is a DE. If I were you, I'd make him with the skinny body size, then sub him in at the pass-rushing OLB in a 3-4.

Ted Ginn is definately not a silver. The only rookie receiver I'd give silver to would be Dwayne Bowe.

I'd say bronze with speed burner.

With Bill Parcells and Sparano I see the Dolphins running more 3-4 this year than the last two years so I'd make Taylor an OLB.

Back in 05, under Saban, the Phins went to more of a 3-4 defense, and Taylor excelled at rushing from the OLB spot and also dropping back in coverage. He was DPOY in 06, while being mostly an OLB.
Granted, due to injuries, the Phins ran more 4-3 in 07, but you can bet under Parcells it will be a 3-4 defense and JT will be an OLB... as, uh, DangPats already covered.
