CB vs. SS

If I have Rod Woodson on my team, and Jack Tatum, but no other DB's, should I play Rod at CB or SS?

Hmm. That's tough for me to answer cuz when I roll with only 2 DBs its always 2 CBs. But if you are set on only having those two DBs, Id say play him at SS.

Woddson is amazing at the FS spot, he has so much range.

Ive tried this set up before..it is doable, you must have good coverage LB's and a good D-line is vital as well.

ohh, for that second suggestion, i have a d-line, but no coverage lb's. The only problem in my desicion, is that the teams always throw away from rod (I don't have live yet, i'm just playing the computer) and I want some interceptions. I'm still not sure what to do.

For me tho'... i use Gold and Silver Cbs to play the sidelines and I manually use the Generic FS or SS to cover the middle of the field. So I'd pick 2 Cbs instead of the Safeties.

What you could do is mix them up. For example in base 4-3 play Woodson at FS, Tatum at SS, when you move to base 3-4 play Woodson at strongside CB and Tatum at FS. When you're in 3-3 nickle play Woodson at weakside CB and Tatum at SS.

Keep the offense off balance, and be creative with your D.

Not bad. I find Leroy Butler to be especially reliable at this. He can handle most silver WR's as well as anyone can in man to man really, and virtually all of the bronzes except for the speed guys.

I like to bring alot of heat to the Qb. I have a Gold DT Art Donavan and I find if he's 1 on 1 with the Center, he usually gets through pretty quickly.

I've seen u post a few times and I think people consider you good or maybe it's from what I read of your posts that I got that impression, but anyway... I'm looking to test my skills. Can we schedule a game sometime?

I would say that I'm competent lol..I think I can play with pretty much anyone...and get blown out by pretty much anyone :)

I win some, lose a lot, win some..I dont have a ego attached to it. :)

My record is a little deceptive..im something like 80 games under .500..with about 50 of them a result of being an idiot and not having a DSL filter a while..helping people get achievements, combined with playing in the Legend Lobby more, and deciding to learn new aspects of the game, by playing the top sim dawgs out there :)

Plus I have no problem seeing if an idea I cooked up in my head will work in a game situation..so I do a lot of experimenting under game conditions.

I'll get my head kicked in trying out a scheme with a team, until I get it right, or it becomes clear that it wont work.

I've been gone for a while. I went to London, England. During that time about 4 months from today.... I haven't been playing, but I gave a friend of mine the ability to do Account Recovery on his Xbox. So if you've played me during that time, it wasn't me. And I got some negs during that time, so if anything happened then between Khan Lives and you, then it wasn't me and I apologize.
