funny thing about VC and 2K9

Let me say I liked 2k7 over NHL 2007 because NHL 07 the AI just was terrible but in 2K7 your players played somewhat like a real team. However all this talk abhout EA not making a sim game is garbage because NHL 08 is the Best video game representation of hoickey to date. Yes it has flaws but how the AI sets up is bar none. 2K8 is probably about the same as 2k7 I would say ok but your guy really just run arround. Just my opinion now 2k is going to go back to VC now does anyone remember NHL 2k for the dream cast? Well VC did that game and its funny cause it had the most obviouse glitch to get past game testers ever every face off was at center ice goalie frooze puck face off center ice lol. I would like to see two really good hockey games with verying style that if I get bored of one I can play the other cause onestly if they are both good I will buy them both but I hope VC has new testers cause if they could miss something that big how good are they at missing the small details.

You're bringing up a glitch on a 9 year old game? Wow, that's really stretching there.

I know the press release said that the game was being redone from the ground up, but I still think they will keep some things. Things like the current rules and some of the basic logic will probably stay, and that means face-offs in the correct spots. Things like that don't need to be redone if they already work.

Visual Concepts did not develop either NHL2K game on the Dreamcast.

NHL2K2 was developed by "Treyarch"

"Blackbox" was aquired by EA and became a part of "EA Canada", which makes EA's current hockey games. EA Canada also makes NBA Live.
