When will the 2k8 servers be cut off? With no 2k9 or any future football; this is it for me. It will suck if they shut down the servers because of the little amount of people using them. Here's hoping I'm still able to play 2k8 online well into 2009.

I wouldn't worry about it. Unlike 2K5, 2K8 is fully patchable. The only reason the 2K5 servers got shut down for PS2 is because it used the espnvideogames.com domain to get to the servers, and as a result, you just couldn't get to them anymore.
That said, as I'm aware of it right now, they share hardware with the baseball servers. Not likely to go away anytime soon either. :)
