playing as utah jazz in my 3rd season
i didnt really think it through very well and i dont know if it was a very good move but i traded carlos boozer for rashard lewis. My reason was that boozer was sort of a waste because i never really passed to him much and he usually only got 6-8 points a game.
my lineup now is
PG D Williams
SG L Barbosa
SF R Lewis
PF M Okur
C Bagnari or however u spell it
I think i made an ok decision but it remains to be seen because ive only played 2 games without boozer so far. But they were both wins so we'll see how it goes.
THANKS

Depends how Rashard is playing for you. If he is racking up some points and contributing more then its a good move man.

Yep you hear alot of people saying "that was a dumb move" and whatever in other peoples franchises' but it comes down how they fit in and whether they have improved your team for you personally man.

If you like to just take jumpers most of the game then Lewis is your guy.
If you like to have an above average post up game, then Boozer is a nice option to have.
The only problem you can run into now is, you have a lot of guys who needs the ball to be effective like DWill, Okur and now Lewis. On top of that you also have Kyle Korver and a very good young upcoming player in Almond. Having Boozer is a nice option to have because he can get easy points off putbacks or second chance points from offensive rebounds.
If it was me, I would've traded Okur for Lewis instead so I can have an inside-outside offense since Okur isn't a post scorer like Boozer. With Lewis and Okur, you got two guys who are taller than 6'10" but none of them can defend the post or rebound all that much.
Still not a bad move though.

i reckon that trade is ace
if your just taking jumpers then it is a perfect trade. The only thing i would do now is get almnd into your starting lineup and trade barbosa and okur/ bargnani for someone who can post up well. then your team will be unbeatable, as you have two completely different ways to play on offense - mid-range or post-up

yeah thanks
i was thinking of probably trading barbosa anyway just because its so frustrating when he has to guard kobe or dwayne wade because he cant defend really because hes so short.
thanks for the input everyone

ok
once again i didnt think it through that well but i traded barbosa for rudy g ay
hes not quite as good a shooter but he can rebound and defend much better
so now its
PG williams
SG ***
SF lewis
PF okur
C bargnani
lol unfortunately team chemistry is about 23% and so my overall team rating is 56
oh well

Boozer is a beast. You have no down low presence anymore. I'd imagine your rebounding went down too. But it's all how you like to play. But in a real world scenario, i wouldn't have given up Boozer, he's the future PF. Plus, Bargani is going to get worked by Shaq, Amare, Dwight, Boozer (when you guys play him=D) ... he's not really a C. he's more of a SF trapped in a C's body. So i would have to say it was a bad move. Like Fury said, you shouldve traded Okur instead ... maybe for a role playing C (like a Samuel Dalembert or someone like that) ... and move bargnani to SF. Plus 23% team chemistry is gonna make winning on HOF mode pretty difficult. Anyways, good luck!

gd trade but u lost the only toughness in the paint on the team
okur and bargnani are finesse guys they will have trouble with the shaqs, yaos, brands and o,neals of the world
