Soon, hopefully.
At least at E3 in July.

Yeah, there should be some pics shown, so people could start bashing the graphics! EA fan boys can't wait for those!:rotfl:
The little video with Rick Nash is really funny!

I actually want confirmation that Mario will NOT be on the Free Agent's list of the Wii version. That wouldn't be a feature I am looking for. Everytime I see Mario, I die a little bit inside.
In all seriousness, I'm happy they are releasing a Wii version of 2k9. I may actually buy a Wii because there's actually a game I want to play on it now.

Yeah, me too.
I've been thinking about either PS3 or Wii.
PS3 hasn't been much of a choice because of the pricing here in scandinavia, but Wii on the other hand, is much much cheaper, and now 2K9, is coming for that tiny wizmachine that I've been wanting to have.
This day started out real good with that info.. :)

it will be interesting to see how they take such a compicated control scheme and dumb it down to the wii

Yeah I have a Wii and am extremely excited to see what they can do with the controls.
They are actually more precise than many people think. Been playing Top Spin 3 for the Wii now for a few days and it clearly recognizes topspins, lobs and stuff. So pulling off some sweet dekes and getting the shooting mechanics right shouldn´t be impossible.
Could be the game experience of the year if you ask me.
Shooting with the analog stick on the 360 is nice...but manually winding up for the slapshot should be even better :)
