View Full Version : Can Create Only 3 Players At A Time?

pleaassseeeee tell me this is false. A guy posted on here that he read that you can ONLY create 3 created players at a time. With about 10 good players missing from the game how can 2Ksports only allow us to create only 3 players at a time? I hope Ron addresses this issue.

It is very true. With SmashCourt 2, I had 10 created players for different sexes and playing styles.
I'm baffled with this 3 players maximum nonsense.

Why than make a superb player creater only to allow 3 created players does not make any sense

Where's the Problem? I read the same but 3 Players are enough anyway. And if you want a new one so soon you got the three full, you just have to delete one.
It seems like you Guys ever search after a new Reason to cry.

well said,
player creator is for you to create yourself into the game and maybe a friend, so three is plenty, there is no reason why there should be more,
although i must admit it would be nice to have more but its not really the end of the world is it?

Do you really think you are fooling anybody? I hope it is evident to everyone who you really are and with whom you work for.
Why should a maximum of 3 not be a problem?
What if one has 4 kids, and each one wants (as to be expected) their own created player?
If 3 players are enough for you, well done. But please refrain from passing your preference as the norm. Clearly, there are others who are not satisfied with a max of 3 players.
Please stop being actively apologetic for this upcoming game and its disappointments.

Cry me A River. Oh my God only 3 created Players possible! Oh my God! The World goes down and my Life is over! Oh my God I can't get all I want! Oh my God! And where is my Djokovic, where is Ivanovic? Oh my God that's to much for me! hehehe
I am looking forward to this Game Dude. Thoese Details can't take my Joy away.
It's Top Spin 3 Baby, the best Tennis Game to date and we'll have it in a few days! :)

Congratulations on your skills at being able to conduct a constructive discussion.
But as one noted, please refrain from passing your preference as fact and the norm. Your counter argument was anything but; it was an "I" statement.
You forget that if people are asked to pay $60 for this game it better include factors to live up to the price. At this stage, it does not.

You know what? I am well informed about what we get with Top Spin 3 and about what we don't get. After all these Previews, a few Tests and Videos that I have seen in the last months I know almost everything that you can know about the Game at this Point. And I see no Reason why I should be disappointed.
Sure such a Game could always have more Features, more Pros and more of that and more of that, but I am happy with what we get with this Title. It's better to watch on the things you get with TS3 than always watch on the things you won't get because you'll have always things in your mind which would make the Game even more impressive.
But I am fine with it how it is and can't wait to play it. Especially after I saw the last French Video Interview with Gameplayscenes where you saw how good this Game can be played so soon you mastered the new Controlles.

Again, congratulations on this game satisfying your needs. Where I object are your insults and belittling of other potential buyers' legitimate concerns and displeasures. Do not pass your preference as fact or the norm.
The latest revelation coupled with a myriad of past revelations is just enough to put people off.
For the record, I have been following the development of this game since last summer. And so far, all I have seen is a growing discrepancy between what was said last year and what will be released next week.
It is people's money, and they will do what they please. I will not be paying $60 for a game only for its gameplay. There are other games who have just as good if not a better gameplay. If it is going to cost $60, it better live up to the billing.

Sure you can do what you want. Nobody will miss you on the virtual Courts online. You don't have to buy it. Then play Virtua Tennis 3 or another old Crap if you think the Gameplay is better. I'll spend my money on TS3 cause I expect a great Game! Sure Players do what they wanna do it. It's just normal. I just said you my Opinions about the Game. :D

You have been expressing your opinions and preference as fact and the norm on multiple threads by belittling people's legitimate concerns. That is wrong of you. You can't claim that a max of 3 created players is enough (as you did) when there are clear examples to prove otherwise.
Again, I ask, what are families with more than 3 children to do? Since you claim that nobody should complain since 3 is enough.

very well said, i can understand his their concern, but the thing is, i havent come across a family with 3+ children who have the same likes and dislikes, but that is a potential problem, i can understand that.
but most people are concerned about this 3 player creation only is not because they want to add themselves, in my opinion i think some users may well try to create players which are not in the original roster such as Novak Djokovic, Ana Ivanovic the list continues,
so as i said well said!

Sry but you call weird examples. What should a Family with more than 3 Children do?
What should a Child in Africa do which won't even have the Possiblity to play such a Game in his entire life?
If it's so important for you then report your Problems 2K. You have ridiculous Problems man. :D

If you don't think it's worth 60 bucks, just don't get it. It's that simple. There is no right or wrong way for the game to be made. It's up to the player to decide whether or not they think it's worth their money. Like I said, if you don't think it's worth it, just don't get it. Just don't act like you're always right because the stuff you want isn't in the game. No one is forcing you to buy it.
That also goes for everyone who has been complaining non-stop about this game. No game will ever make everyone happy so it's expected, but if you don't like it, just don't buy it. It's so annoying how 80% of this board is people complaining about SOMETHING. No one ever looks at the positives.

You missed the point. A previous poster declared that people should stop complaining or demanding certain features. One believes that that is wrong, by stating the fact that it is their money. All they are doing is telling 2K that they may or may not have reservations about paying $60 for a game that lacks features that they find desirable. It makes sense to me.
Again, he can't make a statement that 3 is enough, when that is not the case.

Of course I can when it's enough for me and for many other Players too. It's not my fault that three created Players are not enough for you. BTW We don't even know if that's really true anyway. And if it is I am fine with it. :)

@Silver:

i agree, well said,
i mean if, IF, 2K made it with the ability to create 5 players at one time, then people again will moan about why not 6, why not more? So in my opinion these kind of issues cannot satisy everybody.
and besides if there was a family of children of 3+ who all like the game, it shouldn't be a problem!
it is such a good game they should enjoy it with the players they can use

leonidas1982 is right. Whether you like it or not this little things are making us the "crybabies" not buying the game, and the more "crybabies" don't shell out cash to 2K, the more it will hurt YOUR experience of new DLC or future games. In case you don't get the paradigm, the less they make money the less they can improve the game for you.

I can understand the whole concept about the create a player as for the purpose of creating yourself, or a friend, etc, however, most people who buy these type of games, especially tennis games tend to follow Professional Tennis. With that being said, the fans of Top Spin 3 will notice that about 5 top 10 players are not in the line up and we would naturally take advantage of the Create a Player to create the missing players and input them in the game, but since there is only 3 spots we will still be missing 10 ten players.
Hopefully 2kSports will fullfill their promise in creating players so that we can download them via the internet.

While I think it is a valid complaint to only have 3 created characters, I'd suggest anyone who doesn't want to buy this game for that reason, please seek professional help or stop playing video games completely.
IMO TS3 features the best gameplay in any tennis game ever created. I've been playing (and enjoying) most tennis videogames since 1976 (Atari's pong) and think this is the first time it comes close to simulate the real thing.

I do agree with both of you, but leonidas has got a point. Inevitably, more than 3 people are usually in a household so if they wanted to each have a player of their own, it's not possible, unless one of the family members is left out.
However, saying that, this still does not disappoint me, as the positives of this game completely over-power the negatives, so I'm still very happy i purchased this (Only £27 in the UK on PS3) :) and is worth every penny.
Compared to Smash Court Tennis 3, TS3 completely aces (Wahay!) it, in terms of gameplay and graphics (from what i've seen in a video on YouTube, the graphics are actually a joke! The players looks so skinny). Also bare in mind that SCT is being released a lot later than TS3 so the graphics should have been better.
