I have a ton of complaints about 2K8. First of all, the player animations look horrible. I hate it when the puck suctions into the goalie's glove and when they sprawl out like idiots. Why is their no netting? 2K Sports isn't releasing features about 2K9. That means the game must suck.:thumbsdow Administrators of NHL 2K9 better not remove this! They just don't want to admit that NHL 2K9 is going to suck!!!!!!!!!! It's all about getting the money! They're going to lie and say that 2K9 is going to be great! It's probably not! In my opinion, I give NHL 2K8 a half :thumbsdow. I'll just keep submitting this thread if it gets deleted!
1) Really bad face hair
2) Announcers always say "he"
3) In the shootout, the shooting order is preset. You're supposed to pick the players when the shootout occurs
4) Why are there only about 5 players on the bench?
5) Where are the assistant coaches and trainers?
6) Only 1 referee? :confused:
7) Players and goalies and pucks going through each other and the net
8) On deflections, why don't the players actually TOUCH the puck?
9) Why are there no double-minor penalties
10) The poke-checking system needs to be fixed. It looks like the player is gliding
11) When you switch goalies, the coach just does some stupid pointy motion. How does the back goalie (who isn't even on the bench) know when to go on?
12) The referee always run into everyone and always get hit by the puck
13) The skating looks downright dorky
14) Why is there a big ice pile on the sides of the post?
15) When glass breaks, it always shatters. It never just breaks in small chunks
16) Why don't players get drinks on the bench? Where are the water bottles?
17) Referees don't have mics
18) Players never use the bench doors
19) The penalty box doors just close magically
20) How come some arenas don't have the benches on the other side of the rink?
21) Why is the rink smaller? In 2K5, the rink was way bigger
22) Why is the water bottle always in the same spot on the net? When the water bottle gets knocked off, it magically goes back on
23) At the start of the game, why do the players come out of the bench?
24) There's no Too Many Men Penalty
25) There's no Delay of Game penalty for flipping the puck out of play in the defensive zone
26) Why are the buzzers the same in each arena?
27) Why is the goal judges box connected to the rink? It always shakes more than the glass does when there is a hit in front of it
28) Why don't the goal judges ever move?
29) There is no hole in the scorekeepers piece of glass for the referee to talk through
30) There is no glass camera at the top of the scorekeepers box
31) How does the ice magically get zambonied?
32) Where are the mascots?
33) Enough of the getting checked in the middle of a slap shot!
34) On faceoffs, the referee (who is supposed to be a linesman) should not give the center two warnings when he should just toss the center out of the circle
35) Enough of the mispronouncing players' names
36) Why do the fans not even look at the play???
37) Why do the fans keep getting out of their seats like crazy when nothing happens, but get up nice and slow when the home team scores???
38) Why do the fans barely cheer?
39) When the backup goalie is in net, and he makes a good save, why do the fans chant the starting goalie's name???
40) Way too much hitting!!!!!!!!!!!!! The hitting power is at 0, but you still get the hardest checks ever!!!!!
