Wimbledon's coming round the corner guys, who do you think will triumph this year?

Hate to be boring but i cant look past Federer. I do think if Djokovic avoids him then they will face each other in the final.

think you may be wrong there, i dont think there is a way for them to meet in the final, because isnt the seedings which decide who you meet in the semis and quarters?
well if that is the case then Roger is seed 1 and Novak is seed 3 so inevitably they will meet in the semis more likely than not!

No but surely Nadal (2) and Djokovic (3) could meet in the Semi-Finals?

well i dunno, jus from my experience in watching slams it tends to be 1 vs 3 and 2 vs 4
so if you read it face value it will be Roger vs Novak and Nadal vs Davydenko in the other final

Your probably correct. Also the way Nadal beat Novak at Queens its hard to look past him. Would be good to see an outsider win don't you think?

I'm a federer fan but how long can this guy stay number one? He's crushed the record of consecutive weeks as #1. It can't last forever and I think even though he still is playing well by everyone else's standards he's dropping as far as HIS standards are concerned. Also Nadal is playing the best tennis he has ever played this year.
I want Federer to win but I can't see it happening with Nadal playing so well. Federer could up his game for the final, Nadal could have issues with his knees.
In fact Nadal will most likely not last long as number 1 if/when he does manage to get there. His physical style of play is ok on the soft clay, not so great on grass and is murderous on hard court. Watch his knees cause him major problems in the US and AUS open.

Sweetness that was one championship match for the ages. I'm no tennis expert...and only watch the big tourny's....but that's the best match I've ever seen. Too bad for all the rain delays and the darkness...both players complained they were having trouble seeing the ball near the end.
Congrats to Nadal, for what it's worth. Federer's reign as #1 is surely safe for now...but in a few months? Who knows.
