Lots of times when i go to World Tour Online and then do Quick Match then it finds a oppenent but then it says "you lost connection with your oppenent" but my internet connection is find so he probaly quit or something but then it gives him the win 0-3 0-3 GRRR
Isnt that unfair!?

happens to me all the time, mostly in the lobby once i find a player. The stupid game also tends to freeze with the WARNING screen online and it needs a full reboot.

for what it's worth i found that opening ports 445 and 139 helped a little.

Oh my god, this is so annoying, World Tour Mode is completely broken...
I mean the Idea is great and i was looking forwrd to it, but its completely useless... 8 out of 10 Matches end by loosing the connection and almost always you lose the match due to this... no matter if you are currently winning, losing, if you started the match or joined it, if it was you who broke the connection - i had one match where the other player didnt even move, so i assume he didnt connect properly, after 4 points played the connection is finally lost and i lose the match. if there at least would be a system behind who gets the loss and who the win, but it seems completely random, i got only one win out of lost connections. if it wasnt for this one win i would have thought both players lose the match, but apparently thats not the case...
if it where only the quick matches, it would be just annoying but bearable, but having only one go at the tournaments makes me wanna strangle whoever is responsible for this. At the moment this game is only frustrating and nothing more. Absolutely no fun at all and i will make sure no one i know will buy it until this is fixed.

Just thoight ill give it another try, created a tournament-room, waited a few seconds, another player joins - oh, im sorry - TRIES to join, because as i waited for his character & stats to appear - guess what? connection lost - another tournament wasted without even having started. we never even left the LOBBY!

Now i can't even finish WT because nobody is online that still has to to US open Semi and AUS Final :(

After spending all week going unbeaten, playing 61 matches and making into the final of my final tournament the gamne freezes on the loading screen... i wait for 10 mins nothing... i had to reset the PS3 and i was awarded a loss.
All sense of achievement in the game is now lost on me.. whats the point in rankings when this happens. Utterly disspointed.

I don't know if this problem exist on the Xbox 360 version...

But in PS3 exists and is really anoying...

When I play online... 60 or 70% of matches are failed due to this problem of disconnection..
Then... give the oponent the victory and I lose :(

I won't play online anymore since this problem be fixed... because if I keep playing, in the end i will have a ridiculous ratio of victory matches...
And is imposible to me to complete any tournament online... if I win in the first round, then in cuarter finals will occurs disconection or something...

Please... fix this problem, the online is working very bad on PS3

By the way... the game is awesome!, best tennis game ever made... Now will be perfect if you fix the problem

it happens on xbox too.
until now i thought that the opponent has canceled his connection, to win the match and get the xbox archievments for winning online matches.
Everytime the online session in aborted unregulary, i get the lose on my stats. :(

Can anyone who works for 2k comment on the problems of online play... new season today and 3 of the 14 tournaments froze on me after initial connection to begin match... i will also not be playing online anymore unless the problem is addressed

The disconnection and the freeze of PS3 happen to me most of the time...

But is strange that te top ten players have a good ratio of mathces won

There is a boy (i don't remind the nick now) that have a 140 wins and 8 loses only...
And I think... wtf?????


Is posible that exists a bug and some persons know how to do it?


I've tested to free the IP, or renew IP of my router while i'm in a middle of the game, but didn't work... still gave me the lose xDD

I hope that 2k sports fix this problem as soon as posible

Is possible that this problem happen when you play against people who have "Nat 3" on PS3???

But i don't know...
Yesterday i was playing against a boy, and the connection was lost at starting the match.... but then, I searched for another game and was the same boy... then we started the game and we were able to finish the matchi without any troubles...
It's strange... :(

I just started the WT mode and lost 2 out of 5 matches due to this error, it's ridicolous.

After playing this game continuously for the first week I have a major
issue that needs addressing.

This game crashes (freezes) on the 'warning' loading screen on average
once every 2 hours... if that's is not bad enough then the last time it
did this for me my created player and all stats i had built up was
deleted!!!!! (no i did not create a new career player)...

obviously the crash has corrupted the save file somehow. How Can 2k
release a game that resets itself after a mere 35 hours of game play??

Its bad enough that these crashes cause disconnections and losses to the
stats. I myself had a player that had played 112 games and lost just once.
Then 2 disconnections in tournaments and a player deletion.

A statement from 2K should have arrived by now just to say there will be a
fix for these concerns or they will surely have many many returns. (Every
consumer can return this under their ****sumer rights)

Does no one have this problem with connection lost anymore? I have it more than ever now. Does anyone know if this is a random problem or if my opponents are doing something that cuts off the connection and they get the win? And in that case, what is my opponents doing? Because I have tried turning of my PS3 and unplugged my network cable, turning off the modem, nothing works. I get the loss every time. And when I'm not doing a damn thing and I get "connection lost to your opponent" I still get the loss. Does anyone have some information?

Happens to me all the time on the Xbox and It especially ****es me off when it happens during a tournament since you only have one shot at it. So far out of my 22 losses 20 of them have been due to the connection error. This is unacceptable as is the little hiccup that happens when you or your opponent are serving.

When I lose connection with my opponent when I am winning, it gives me the win almost every time. Only once have I had this happen and got the loss. I am 65-6 and one time this has happened. I don't see it as being a big deal.

Its a shame that they dont fix it right away. I mean, its not a small problem. Its the whole online part thats not working. I have lost 27 matches. 23 of those losses never been played for.. and foolish me, i bought the game only for the online function.

It might not be a big problem for you but to many of us it's a huge problem especially if you're kicking another person's butt in a tournament and all of a sudden you get a connection error and get kicked out of that tournament.

Hi, no updates since more than 4 weeks now, am I the only guy who is facing this issue in the meantime? In the past I have had all kinds of possible errors when playing TS3 online (connection losses + loosing game, full char erase, ps3 freezing, etc.) and a fix for this should be important in order not to throw this game out of the window soon. I think customer support doesn't end up after selling the product, it should start at that point. Additionally if 2K offers a forum but doesn't have the necessary resources to moderate it adequately, you could also stop offering it!! One last comment regarding issues: There are some guys in the online ranking who have xxx : 0 statistics, that means they have lost not 1 game, so there must me a trick available and a possibility to work against it as well.
