if you haven't already don't buy!! i expect the graphics to be sub-par but game play was even worse. i'm out $50 for a game i expected much more from. no career mode, no player creator, hell i can't even play as a preloaded form and give it my own name, no left hand option, no nadal (my fav player) and only one legend, limited venues, and stupid party games! why wasn't there an asterisk in the game discription on the web sight, i feel mislead! i could probably find more things wrong but i got mad and quit trying! i say again if you have a wii, please please do not buy this game. don't even rent it unless you have the money to burn and want to see just how bad it truly is.

I think it's worth to note that it sucks on Wii. I initially planned to get the Wii version, because i like the Wiimote and it looked as if it were the best controls to play TS3. I'm glad I found this forum where I could see how bad the graphics looked on Wii wich made me decided to buy the PS3 version still wondering if it wouldn't be nicer to play with the Wiimote than with the PS3 controllers. Now I know even the gameplay sucks. And the topicstarter is right the TS3 website gives Wii owners totally no information of the Wii versions limitiations.
Negative critics can result in positive critics. Because of the bad critics on the Wii version I am now a very happy PS3 top spin player.

Does the movement you do with a wiiremote is a real swing ? Is there more spin on the ball if I actually do a top spin ..

I definitely agree!
I am asbsolutely disappointed by the Wii version. I can't create my own player, I can't have a career mode, the graphics are awful!!

If you want a high-end graphics game system, buy the PS3. If you want realistic physical gameplay, then TS3 on the Wii is awesome. I'm a tennis player myself and I love this game. It is very realistic and fun to play. I can't imagine it would be fun to play on a PS3 or Xbox sitting there on the couch, when you can play with the Wii remote and swing like a real tennis racket.
Also, who cares about player creation mode?? Not me. I just want to play tennis. I don't understand why anyone would be disappointed because you can't create players. Just pick one and play. Jeez.

TS3 without career mode is not fun! Playing the same players over and over again is boring!

Exactly. Come on....this is a slap in the face. Seriously. No create a player....no career mode. Those have been the most basic features of every sports game created in the last decade and a half...at least. Are we really asking too much to have a game that even reasonably resembles the PS3 and X-Box360 versions? I mean, sure, Us wii players expect not to have PS3 or X-Box graphics...but we're getting boned on actual gameplay and that is completely unacceptable. We are paying full price for half-*** effort. Not kosher....not kosher at all.

I was, too, looking forward to a good wii tennis game.
This is definitely NOT it. Nor is the price warranted.

ok so i played the game, and its god awful!
1. no difficulty settings
2. road to glory.....tournament (events) mode .... can't see the bracket or anything. you just play the next person and can't see who else is in the tournament(event). the events are as follows: speedy event, classical, final square, 2 x 4 , male vs female, survival, grand slams and the great league.
it seems as if you have to play them in order to get to the next one. which would be fine if they were normal tournaments. instead they put in gimmicky events.
3. Wii controls are horrible, does not use wii controls as they should.
this is a sad attempt, very very sad. 2k should be proud of themselves for making profits on something that belongs in the bargain bin.

I fully agree. The worst of it all is that the official website doesn't mention a thing about those lacking features, instead it actually promotes the game having those features like online play. I just bought the game today and probably won't play it more than an hour. Unfortunately a big disappointment. The least 2ks can do is at least warn Wii gamers on the official website, because this is really fishy.

I also agree this Wii game is not worth the cost nor does it have the options built in that should be there. FAULT! 2K SPorts! Give me my money back and I'll stop *****ing

This is unreal.
I don't care about graphics. I spent a lot of money on this game to get a better tennis experience than what I got on Wii Sports.
1) No career mode. How can I track my development? Even on Wii Sports you'll get points as you move along. on TS3 you play the same players over and over again.
2) No skill settings. I went straight into the game and haven't lost a match yet - not even a set. I barely hit the ball out of bounds, and most of my errors is when the wii remote doesn't react on my hit, so the player just stands there like a fool. And I got my Wii just a couple of weeks ago so I'm a rookie at best.
3) Few profiled players. Some of the best players in the world is left out. Boris Becker is the only oldie avaliable.
4) No online play. I'm not a person who usually plays online, but when I have the option to play against another human player or the same A1 players over and over, I'd like the option to go online.
I want my money back!
