Create-a-Player Association: age problem

i recently bought this game for ps2 and i made a guy. i like to play association so i assaing the guy to heat and i played 4 games and i notice that this is is 27 years old.
how could this possable if i just make this guy and this guy is on "rookie watch" and be 27 years old? is there a way i can make him 19 years old?

Yeah, if you upgrade to the XBox 360 or PS3 version. I had PS2 last year and I know that age is not an editable feature of the rookies. But in the next gen version you can edit their ages so they can have long and illustrious all-star careers.
