I having real problems getting the serve right on the Wii version (I know the easy serve will always work).....anybody got any tips?

It's actually not that difficult;
1) point the Wiimote downwards.
2) press the C button (the small button on the Nunchuk) once. Now your player will hold the ball in his/her hand.
3) "throw" the ball up in the air using the Wiimote
4) the orange/yellow gauge will show.
5) "hit" the ball by moving you arm/Wiimote forward like you would in real life, as the indicator is in the orange gauge marking.
To make a "risk" serve hold down the B button on the Wiimote before you do step 3, and keep it pressed. The orange/yellow gauge will show up smaller so it'll be harder to hit the ball at the right time.
