whos the best out of these 3 roger wehril lester hayes or mel renfro

Lester Hayes IMO. Although many seem to like Renfro quite a bit, Ive never liked him nearly as much as Hayes. Lester plays as well as a gold CB in some games for me, other times, he plays like youd expect from a silver.

Roger Wehrli isnt great at anything, but he isnt bad at anything either. Id say he's the most balanced silver CB besides Lem Barney.

I think Lem Barnery is garbage. He always runs too fast and passes up the receiver when he's breaking on the pass. Then he has to turn around and come back to make the tackle.

AND, he fumbles a lot of kick returns.

Speed and Coverage bonus is all you need, but you must remember that no cb is good if the Qb has all day to throw the ball.

Blitz, bump man, or more effectively have 1-2 good d-lineman and this will make the Qb hurry and throw a lot of bad passes

I'm gorowing more partial to hayes now that Im really paying attention to him. If I need a return threat, Im going to go with Renfro though.

lem barney plays better than gold for me. he is shut down

I think Barney is the best CB in this game at being a cornerback. Woodson may have leadership, Hayes and Night Train may be able to bump guys, but if you want someone to stay with the receiver and sometimes get some really nice INTs, Barney is the man.
