Create a player is the most rewarding feature in this game. I have created a RB and WR that are virtually unstopable. Why do gamers complain about this great option when each gamer can create their own unique and talented player? My theory is that most gamers dont have the imagination required to utilize this option, Football players and coaches teach and understand the goal is to find weaknesses and exploit them. This is basic football strategy. If most gamers would attempt to understand this basic football theory then you would stop complaing and calling it cheese. Lets discuss this topic in an intellectual manner and not immediately respond with your feedback rating is low. I dont care what any of you think of me. I win games period. From a psychological perspective that is why so many gamers respond with negative comments rather than trying to make adjustments. Online gaming is somewhat of an addiction whether you choose to believe or realize this fact. Most gamers hate to lose. 2k football is the greates sports game ever and you should appreciate the freedom and imagination it provides, what other game can you truly be a GM, Coach and Creator?

zues,
OK let's discuss, why do you run a play (always a lob bomb), complete the pass, call hurry up, hike the ball before your opponent can get back across the line and toss another bomb? obviously a free play since your opponent is offsides. you will accept the penalty if the pass is incomplete or intercepted.
You do this all game and then you ask why no one wants to play you.
ok your turn... discuss this "in an intellectual manner".

I have never asked that question because the answer is gamers hate losing. Strategy suggests that if you can expoit a penalty then u expoit it.

then why don't you use elway as your qb and abuse cadence. you could move down the field 5 yards at a time (you would never turn the ball over like you do now occasionally) ... that would be fun

but thats not fair to the other player because there is nothing that can be done to get his men onsides fast enough, i know that you realize that you are not speaking logically

Whenever I rush my offense to the line of scrimmage my QB just stands there and will not hike it no matter what I do. He waits for the defense to set up and then goes under center for the snap. So how does Zues do this?

I don't understand your mentality man, I really don't. The answer to all of this is very simple.
There's a reason there's a rating "Abuses Exploits" and "Used some exploits.". Because at bare minimum, it's in bad taste. At worst, no one will want anything to do with you. I'm not sure what I have to say to get this through to you - WE DO NOT WANT TO PLAY AGAINST 7ft tall wide outs and play chase the bomb for an hour. We just don't. Period. Rationalize it all you want, WE DON'T WANT TO DO IT. YOU CANNOT MAKE US.
(Figured maybe if I used my caps lock a bit you might understand it...)

If this is the same guy on PS3(7 ft. CAPS)... I don't mind. If you want to throw bombs all day and pray you catch it (had 2 ints) thats fine with me. I played you and murdered you - I stopped your offense a few times and you NEVER stopped mine. Regardless - I gave neutral feedback because you didn't quit (I was surprised), but received a negative in return while beating you playing straight up (I have a 96% rating after your neg!! lol).

Football players and coaches teach and understand the goal is to find weaknesses and exploit them. This is basic football strategy.
Ok...so if I bring a gun on the field and shoot my opponent before they tackle me, this is finding a weakness and exploiting it...right?
There are certain rules and guidelines that must be followed and when the NFL said that video taping the other teams signal calls was illegal, they stopped it and everyone knew it was cheating. But obviously you don't have they mental ability to tell the difference between exploiting a weakness and finding a glitch in the game.
So don't complain when no one plays you or gives you a negative feedback...it's all part of exploiting your weakness in the game:thumbsup:

What is wrong with this guy? He can't really believe that people in their right minds would want to play his 7ft cheese monsters! C'mon! Hurry up and bomb all day, thats not football.
Maybe the AFL is your type of game Thor. Not APF!

I think gamers would be fine with CAPS if they were created with some realism. How many 7ft WRS do u know? I havent played online in awhile, but when I did encounter these players, I wouldnt shy away from the challenge..

I never played the guy or know anything about him so I won't go the route labeling him.
I read a post in the last thread first so now I'm here afterward, if anyone wants to know.
He makes a point about exploiting because the offsides thing is done in the NFL all the time. I'm with someone else, because in the games I've played hurry up it seems like my QB waits for players to cross the line of scrimmage. But everyone experience could be different so I won't discount it. But Take-Two needs to address this as well. Hurry up doesn't tire out the defense as quickly as it does with this game.
I've always said there needs to be balance with regard to negative effects.
-Cadence should have an equal or close to equal amount of false starts.
I know false starts exist with it, but it rarely comes up.
- No huddle needs to offer some type of gamble on the offensive side of the ball. False start, illegal formation (with someone not lining up properly. However, this would only be nice if the game would allow the QB to correct this with a hot route audible or something. This would of course add to the time, but could slow down the constant use of no-huddle all game.)
So what are your created players?
What do they consist of attribute wise? Including Height, Weight, etc...
Do these players out perform the top Gold Legend players that come with the game?

I agree with Goodsense, rep means absolutely nothing online. I will admit that rank and winning is why I play sports games. I enjoy frustrating opponents and gaining a psychological advantage.

It still will be horrible, and people will still not want to play you. Sorry
