If you think about this seriously, it could be a way HUGE HIT!

Take the Top 50 High School Teams from USA Today teams such as South Lake Carrol, Hoover, De La Salle, West Monroe and the rest.

If your high school is not on there, you can make ur high school and have it FULLY CUSTOM SYSTEM close to the one in APF2k8 so you can make any uniform you want.

In Dynasty Mode, The CPU Generates the other teams by Cities in that State. And the power houses in the state are the real school/s from the Top 50 USA.

Include High School Pagentry like running out breaking the banner (Which make it to where we can right anything we want in it, such as the create ur sign in the old NCAAs)
Make reverses, hook and ladders, and other trick players work. And dont forget the bands for pregame, during the game, and half time.

2k sports trys to make all these fantasy stadiums, imagine this one I had to play in..

We go down south to a bunch of cajuns. wen we turnd in over 400 of them tail gaiting beating on our bus. They Pack there house, Everyone of them has air horns. Ther team comes out with tourches and smoke and fireworks. A train is a quarter mile away that passes every ten minutes blowing it horn makin it impossable to talk. It was the most hostile place I ever been in.

2k sports problem with the NFL thing is too many people are loyal to madden. Its a long shot to ever win back the NFL dominace that madden has. 2k should switch directions and make a game like this, were instead of using dream teams with legends were using actual high school teams.

If this was a big hit, how about take the top 10 teams from every state. then the next year 10 more...

could be big if done right, ive been playing football games since 1993 and I have been waiting for a game like this to happen and all my friends talk about wanting this game

If they do another game I'd prefer High School or a NFL copy cat over the Legends thing. I'd really like them to do High School though. EA set the groundwork for a High School game in NCAA 2008, but it was soo bland and not HS specific. No HS specific plays/playbooks ect.

Doing a Dynasty Mode would be alot easier with High School ball. It's something no one else is doing. They need to do it IMO. Take what EA did in NCAA 2008 with the high schools and really flesh it out. Bands, Local Sports broadcasts. State playoffs, State Championships, ect.

oh defently set up like real high school..

10 Game Season

5 game play off.

I liked in NCAA when I went to the State Championship it took me to New Orleans Super Dome just like where the real high school state championship is here

I wouldnt like the High School game because a lot of our highschools wont be in the top 50. If they allowed you to fully create your highschool then I would play this game non-stop.

I wouldn't mind it being part of a customization feature of a game, but I can't see an entire game soley for the purpose of High School Football. I hated watching our football team. They only won 1 game in 3 years while I was in High School, then 2 years after I leave, they are in the sate finals (they lost).

Honestly, I think the four of you that posted before me are the only ones who are even remotely interested in this idea. Without the "LEGENDS" concept, if there was a COMPLETELY CUSTOMIZABLE game 2k would have a shot at doing something that most football fans could wrap their hands around.

APF2k8 is a lot of fun... but it just didn't fly off the shelves as well as 2k would have liked, I'm sure of that. I have it for both the 360 and the PS3- because I have friends that don't do well with one controller or the other.

I just don't think that the MAJORITY of people that game are going to want to 'RELIVE' the GLORY DAYS of their HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL. I'm sure that it would sell decently in areas that have great HS SPIRIT and not well in others. Unless I'm allowed to play linebacker and then march in the band at halftime, I'll never get to experience that again anyway

I was really hoping that 2k would get theAFLliscence after the HORRID games that EA released for them. I'm still looking for a few people to play online if anyone is interested- APF2k8- PS3-SRAIDER7, XBL-SkeletalRaider, if I'm not online hit me up on AIM-skeletalraider

The main question is what demographic is the company looking to grasp here.

HIGH SCHOOLERS? If that is the case, then an all high school game would work great! My guess is that they are looking to hit a much bigger demo than that... releasing a legends game had to have been geared towards OLDSCHOOL football fans. People that saw some of these guys actually out on the grid iron. That may have been the problem with this game. Even being a pretty hardcore football fan, I wouldn't consider Solomon Wilcots to be a LEGEND...unless you are basing it on his SUPER BOWL KICKOFF RETURN for a TD. (Then his specialty should have been as a returner)

If they are trying to take more of the MADDEN audience, they have to do more than just bringing Barry Sanders back on the field. There has to be something very special to get the 'hardcore' madden nation people to make a switch... Even with 2k5 having so many fans, I just didn't see, and my guess is that 2k didn't see enough people buying this year's game.

DON'T TAKE THIS AS ME NOT LIKING THIS GAME- I LOVE IT... but I also understand why some people did NOT pick this up... While the stadiums are BEAUTIFUL to look at, It's hard to find a stadium that really fits your created team and there were some serious online issues at first which I believe turned some people off. Some people were creating teams that are just UNSTOPABLE, and their has to be some balance in the game in order to get the 'casual fan/gamer' interested in the game. I don't play certain games online because I didn't get them AT LAUNCH and that unbalance makes some games NOT FUN to play online.

There are a lot of OPTIONS in 2k8 as far as creation goes....and that is awesome...but they need to offer something that a casual football fan UNDERSTANDS and knows. The NFL is on TV every time I freaking turn around...people know those teams...I'm not sure that a game can survive without a license and I am sure that is what 2k is looking into right now.

It would be like releasing a hockey or baseball game without a license... They just are no longer 'accepted'. The unfortunate thing for football fans is that the NFL and NCAA feel that EA was willing to give them more cash or produce a better product...I'm not sure which but I'm sure it's the cash!

I'd like to see if a game such as blades of steel or tecmo bowl would fly today without the license... it's proven that 2k released a great game and people just didn't wait in line at midnight for it's release!

I hope that they do something spectacular before they make another release because I love this game and I'm sure that the future games that they release will be even better.

I wouldn't support a High School Football game.

They can either enhance this game or go all generic or offer them both as modes.

If they switch over to a HS Football game I will be out of here.
Peewee league next?

 Ok. My bad. Poor wording on my part. You got me.

If 2ksports goes HS Football INSTEAD OF APF 2k# or some all generic version, then I'm out of here. If they create a HS version on the side I'll still be here. The same with peewee league as long as they provide a generic pro football game.

Others... then... I'll be gone.

im pretty much saying they should make this game on the side, though I really would not care if they droppd APF to make this game, but then again this game probally will never happen its just an idea
