My Cavs association is in its 3rd year and I have a rather unbelievable team (no, I didn't override any trades). I started off my completely rebuilding the team, keeping only LeBron. After that, I pretty much just kept trading good players and draft picks for better players. My current team is

Daequan Cook- 80 (I developed him)
Andre Iguodala- 97 (consistent scorer)
Lebron James- 99 (MVP)
Josh Smith- 93 (All-NBA 2nd team b/c Lebron was 1st team; almost D-player of year)
Tyson Chandler- 96 or so (Beast at rebounding and blocking shots)

Notable Bench:
Al Thornton
Trevor Ariza
Sean Williams

My overall team rating is like 95 with both offense and defense right around there. Anyways, I sim the majority of the season with the exception of important games towards the end and playoff games. What I am saying is that even with such a phenomenal and ridiculous team, why can't I have an excellent record? The best I have done in the 3 seasons is 51 wins, which is crazy considering the fact that a team of this caliber in real life would probably have 70 wins... Also, my morale and team chemistry are both excellent. I have also noticed that wins and losses come in long streaks, which I suppose is realistic, but with the exception of young, emotional teams, the effect should not be this exaggerated. I win 4, lose 3, win 5, lose 6, etc... The ability of the opposing teams have almost no correlation with whether I win or lose against them.

How??? Man, the simulator just doesn't like me. I just simmed the first 3 games of a 5 game finals. 2 of the 3 were at home and I still lost 2 games to the Nuggets who have an overall rating of 65. Compared to my 95...

Well my team is very close... Even when I had Jamal Crawford at point (trained him up to 97) I couldn't sim that many wins. What kind of minutes did you make them play? I play them like 36-42 minutes a game because my bench isn't very good. And they all have fantastic stamina. Do you think it may have something to do with the fact that I play 5 minute quarters and sim 8 minutes? I sim 8 because when I play games I can't acheive the same stats as a simmed 12 minute game so my players would never be all stars...

I just started a franchise with the clippers and didnt play any of them and in my first year i was 52-26 i think with 12 minute quarters

I think team chemistry plays a large part in simulated wins. I rebuilt my Hawks team in my sixth season and had a chemistry of 56% starting off the season. We promptly went on a simulated 3 game loosing streak. Once I was able to get the chemistry up into the upper 70s by manually playing and winning I was able to sim again and win games.

I just simmed a 72-10 season with all of my guys rated 99 and playing 37+ minutes. My Cavs are in their 7th season and have won like 4 of the last 7 championships. My 72 win team consisted of:

Deron Williams- 99
Andre Igoudala- 99
LeBron James- 99 (didn't make all star team this year for the first time)
Chris Bosh- 99
Al Jefferson- 99

Trevor Ariza- 84 (developed into good defender and shooter and great athlete)
Sean Williams- 78 (Solid defender and athlete)

All my guys played heavy minutes cause the other 5 players on my team were all cheap FA's. I was 40 million over the cap but I still had a team budget of like 50 mil. This association wasn't as fun as I thought because it was way too easy to build an amazing team. In the first season I dumped all of the Cavs poor players, keeping only LeBron and building a young team around him.

Oh, and I changed the sim time to 12 minutes, I think that makes a huge difference. This way, a lot of my wins are 20+ point blowouts.

I had a few 70+ wins in my Heat franchise...All my starting five were like 92+.
