In one of todays articles on www.eastsideboxing.com the "drunken master" Emmanuel Augustus has just recently signed with EA sports, to be in upcoming boxing game Fight Night Round 4, which is set for release in early 2009. I think EA's roster is going to be huge, especially if they are picking up guys like Augustus who is not even close to the top of the sport. I do enjoy watching Augustus fight though, he is an entertainer, and makes all fights interesting, and is a very awkward fighter.

lol, that's awesome. I love watching Augustus fight. He's always in great fights. I think he would have a better record though if he clowned less and fought for the entire round. He has a tendacy to stop fighting and just get cute in there, which has costed him a few decisions. Then again, he's had more fights robbed from him then just about anybody. It will be fun to be him in FN 4 and I hope that they actually give us the large roster we've all been clamoring for.

Agreed. Do you happen to know who's all in FNR4 so far?

I know Ali's in, SRR will be in, Winky's in, so's SRL, and Lennox Lewis, almost certain George Foreman will be in too. Apparently Kelly Pavlik will be in also, and Tyson of course, I'm sure ODLH will be in, along with Tito Trinidad, Roy Jones, Norton, Liston. I know they'll have a packed Welterweight division so Cotto, Margarito, Williams, Mayweather, Clottey, Judah (maybe) Berto, and a packed Lightweight division so Pacquiao, JMM, Campbell, Juan Diaz, David Diaz, Julio Diaz, maybe Khan, Casamayor, Katsidis. I'm absolutely postive that JT will be in, along with B-Hop along with a load of other names, I'm positive that atleast 98% of the guys I mentioned will be in the game, and the most awesome thing is that they will all fight just like they do/did...I can't wait for this game.

I hope you're correct, Charlie Murphy. That's the greatest lineup so far in any boxing game I've ever seen. God, I hope this game lives up to the hype.

I hope I'm correct too Goodfella, like I said I'm 98% sure :p but there's no reason why any of the names I mentioned can't be in Round 4, if anyone can get that many big names it'd be EA. I'm not gonna get too hyped about Round 4 though, I was hugely hyped for Prizefighter...then I played it

Prizefighter was a game I knew I was gonna beat quickly, then put it back in the box, and never play it again. With all of the fight nights at least they were open career modes, and not limited to the lackluster HW division. Glancing blows and no parrying bs, is definitely a good enough reason 4 me to look forward to this game.
