I'd rather see if all the hype around Froch is warranted, but I know most European press hype everything up. Or at least their music journalist do.
Anyone seen any of Froch's fights? He beat Robin Reid, but really that's all I know about him.
Taylor's promoter voices reason:

Lacy hasnt looked good since before the Calzaghe beat down, so I'll say I'd rather see Taylor fight Froch.

Agreed. I saw a Lacy fight on Espn classic pre Calzaghe and he still didn't look that great, he gets hit way too much. Lacy's last fight was with Manfredo and I was a bit shocked it went to the final bell. Froch is undefeated and has a pretty good KO record so far, 19 out of 23, I think.
And a fight with Taylor would answer a lot of questions. I wanna see what Froch can do and Taylor would be a good test for him.

Yep. I dont know much about Froch, but with that kind of record, and a good ko percentage, I too want to see if this guy is for real. Kinda interested in how Lacy does against Mendoza in a few weeks. If he looks great, give him another shot at the elite fighters, if he looks lackluster(which he has lately), I couldnt care any less to watch him fight again. It seems like he lost alot in his defeat/asswhooping to Calzaghe(imo).

Yeah, Calzaghe was too big a challenge that soon in Lacy's career, if he had more experience he probably would've done some more damage, Calzaghe was just too much. I think Lacy's thrashing of Robin Reid probably got it in his and Dan Birmingham's head that Calzaghe would be a pushover, considering Calzaghe struggled for a split decision win over Reid. I just wonder if he can still bang em up like he used too, Lacy was like an iron man, he can and will take a beating just to land that one shot. He's got a warrior's heart, he took everything Calzaghe threw and never quit. and he's not that tall especially for his weight class, so hopefully he still has that pop, if not Taylor will probably win comfortably on points if they fought. But yeah, hopefully the Mendoza bout will be a return to form, or maybe Lacy's boxing skills will have evolved past that 'one punch you're done' mentality.
Especially after Jermain's Pavlik episodes, So either Froch or Lacy, y'know Taylor will want to prove himself and will be in top form. I don't wanna see a past it Lacy thrown to that wolf, I wanna see if that untested englishman can come through, Froch has said he'll KO Pavlik after he KO's Taylor.

Either he's the real deal or he has a career death wish.

Since Froch is talking ****, I hope he becomes the guy that Taylor gets back in the win column against, and hopefully by a devastating kayo. There was not a better boxing moment than when Mayorga talked all that **** about Oscar, and got hit with that left hook in the first round of the fight, and Oscar stood and stared at him on the ground like "who's the ***** now?". I hope Taylor schools Froch. Its hard not to like Taylor, he seems so down to earth, and like a genuine good guy. He got alot of static because he could get rid of Spinks, but Cory is a very sleek boxer thats hard to hit(unless your name is Zab).

Froch is good, but Taylor is better, and I'm starting to get ****ed off with his mouth, he will get destroyed by Taylor, late round KO.
