No online franchise

i got a friend of a friend that work there and from what i'm told there no online league franchise. no sports game but NCAA football has online franchise. so i guess it will come down to gameplay. i was really hoping they would be smart enough to add this but i'll let it slide since its VC first year.

Playing the AI is boring just bring all the offline franchise to online leagues plz 2k. i'm glad EA didn't do it cause even if EA gameplay was not as good as 2k this season i would have gone over there just for online franchise, but no one has it so let see some gameplay.

ohh. i was being extremley sarcastic. i feel like this hockey game sounds more like a game like GTA where you "do" stuff and can watch TV, than a real hockey game. Made by hockey fans, for hockey fans

I don't know if EA has online franchise, but they do have online leagues. You can create a team of up to 50 human players (so you always have enough online for a game). Each user controls his own player (from be-a-pro mode), so you could have 40 human players all linked into the same game and controlling every single player on the ice. Then they will have a world ranking system for these teams. Pretty cool if the EA servers can handle all of that.

as far as the website. ncaa 09 was supposed to have a website backing the online dynastys. but they pulled it at the last minute. so ea has the blue print. they just have not gotten it where they want it apparently

Yup Yup. Wxcwllwnt league with great GM's and owner. Very competitive and there is also FA's & a draft for rookies. It's a keeper league.

stoney, that league was good, when it was sim. then as time went on, it became ok for "long standing" league guys to bust out the cheese when they were down late in games. now, it's just "whatever it takes to win" unless u are a new guy.

the members are all good guys thought. a nice pool to pick from when making a league ;-)

franchise will eventually come out online, but zambonis?!?!??! man, ive been waiting for that since the acrade game in between periods in blades of steel!!!!

ummm my league was going fine, then cheesers started infiltrating the league and it got a tad bit like nagl. rather than just make excuses for guys doing drivebys whenever they felt like it, nightbird make a smaller league of all the good sim guys (i think u know a few, since we got them from your league) and play REAL sim games. we dont play the "we call it sim, but driveby, dive, and cheese when down by a goal" nagl style.

then my 2k profile took a dump and i had to create a new one. i have yet to give rights to my league to someone else so they could invite me.

but through the two seasons of my league, ive got a good base for a 2k9 league. unlike u, my life doesnt revolve around a video game. i heard u said "playoffs wait for nothing, not even a death in the family". that may be one of the saddest things ive read in regards to a video game ever.

it sad to you not to me. i want my league to run, not be held up for everyone real life problems. with 30 guys there will always be things that come up in other peoples lifes and i have np with that, at the sametime they have to understand there 30 other guys and we can't just wait for one person. if someone i knew die and i had to deal with it i would forfit my spot for someone else to play.

its funny how your league was going to be sooooo much better and look at you now, even after it fail you still try to spin it and act like its not a big deal to you.

i'll go back to my no life having video gaming since you know me soo well...

to seriously say someone losing a family member isnt an acceptable reason to wait for a guy is just flat out pathetic. maybe one day it will happen to you and your job will be as unforgiving. then youll find out what i mean. then again, a job is less important than a hockey league. for the record, my league WAS much better than yours. then like i said, the cheese began creeping in and i slowly removed it. unfortunatley there are too many cheeseballs on 2k and not enough true hockey fans who can *gasp* deal with losing a hockey game. when we lost some guys, and then my profile dumped out, i jumped in with nightbird and have been having a blast. i'm not "spinning" that it isnt a big deal, it really isnt. i will say though, it IS fun watching my guys buzz through your league, especially knowing if it came down to a league i run or your league, there would be NUMEROUS open spots and teams you would be filling in for..... i'm sure it is a ton of fun playing games for the teams who left your league. but i see you filled some of those spots with guys who just wouldnt have any parts of not being allowed to do drivebys 900 times a game, lmao. i liked how a few of them complained about it before even playing a game.

con had the best gms around when they played legit, not the garbage style they play now (most gms, not all. keys and hawks phan are two of the best out there and play 150% sim).

When it comes down to it yam, no matter what you say about my spelling or anything else about me. your still the bitter guy i kick out of my league. then you figure you could do it just as good as me and fail not once but twice. when your in other people leagues you go on about how its the best league, untill your gone then your just two face.

con, i have no problem with beatign the cheesers in 2k. i just find it so mindnumbing it is unreal.
you say that you kicked me out. last i checked you gave me about 30 "warnings" to stop telling you about the cheesers in your league or you would kick me. if i WANTED in your league, i would have just shut up. but it was so frustrating playing in a "sim when youre winning" league, i had no problem getting canned. it is just VERY ironic how much of a sim demanding admin u were in full season 5 which u threatened to kick people out daily, then you make a league talking about being the best "sim" league on 2k, but then turn around and make excuses for everyone of your boys to abuse exploits."playing better d" isnt sitting in front of the net laying the stick down for 60 min. ive said to MANY people that you do a great job with your free agent thing and rookie apsect, but i cannot sa you are a fair admin.

dont worry, i wont have a hard time making a league in 2k9.

ntq, i know i rant about this too much. just frustration over the fact that that leagueWAS s great and the one thing con used to complain about 24/7 is the one of the things he now encourages. then when you call him lon it, his response is to kick people out.
