Im in the second year of my franchise as the Atlanta Hawks. My starting lineup is

PG: Gilbert Arenas - 97 (signed one a 6 year/$15m deal during free agency)
SG: Kevin Martin - 82 (signed to a 3 year/$4.5m deal during free agency)
SF: Kevin Durant - 85 (traded Joe Johnson for Durant, Wally Sczerbiack and the Sonics first round draft pick)
PF: Al Horford - 85 (from the start)
C: Rudolph Dennis - 80 (No. 2 pick in the 2009 NBA Draft)

Sixth Man: Josh Smith/SF - 85 (from the start)
Bench:
Uris Golob/SG - 79 (No. 3 pick in the 2009 NBA Draft)
Trace Robins/SF - 79 (No. 9 pick in the 2009 NBA Draft)
Sasha Pavlovic/SG - 72 (recieved in a trade)
Trenton Hassell/SF - 69 (received in a trade)
Acie Law IV/PG - 74 (from the start)
Kelenna Azubuike/ SG - 74 (received in a trade)

Any tips....help in trades, free agents, lineups etc would be greatly appreciated. Also just rating how i'm going so far would be great.

Answer me a question.

How did you got Arenas?

during the year i traded off players for large one year contracts + draft picks (which is how i got picks so high in the draft)

come the end of the year, i had durant, horford and j smith all on extremely low contracts - and they were my main players. i chose not to resign all of the expiring contracts and traded other contracts that i felt were not needed to teams under the salary cap for draft picks in return, thus eliminating more money from my overall cap. after all of this, i had roughly $20m left for free agency, and since Arenas had opted out of his contract, i offered and he accepted. the same with kevin martin

you should start durant at sg and josh smith at sf

why do you reckon this would be a good iea....isnt durant (at 6'10) too big for the 2 spot

no trade override....durant had been injured up until this trade (i specifically waited until the day he was healed to try the trade)

thats the only reason it worked....i have tried again and not got anywhere near getting it, so just luck i guess lol

im not complaining either way
