**(The Official)** Champion of the Forum - Defense Title Thread

After winning the "Forum Bragging Rights" Tournament (http://www.2ksports.com/forums/showthread.php?t=177520)

I've decided to create a "Forum Champion". Here's how it will go:

You post in this thread to challenge Champion (me, right now) for the title.
If you win, it's yours.
If Champion wins, it's a title defense.

It'll be interesting who can get the most title defense.

Notes:
If Champion loses title, he automatically gets a rematch.

I think all results with scores should be put on the 1st page, or just copied and pasted to the last page....that way it shows how many title defenses you had before you lost

JUIC3D 3 saw me throw from inside my own end zone 70 yards on a scramble to WR for a TD. Saw me throw 75 yards running left and twisting his body and throwing of his back foot. There is no other QB better. Only reason I dont use him much is because I like my Gold Picks to be on Defense.

Recap: Very close game, came down to the last play. My D and myself played like crap, and the heroics of Joe Cool + John Taylor was the deciding play with 30 seconds left. The rematch should be fun.

This is where we disagree, then. Being the Champion should mean something; that you had to go through the toughest competition, and not just beat him once, but twice in a row.

It makes it more prestigious. Everyone one on the forum will recognize that player as a very good player, than (potentionally) someone who just got lucky while the other guy got screwed over.

I won, very close game. It was 17-10. My first TD in that game was crazy, I threw it to Taylor for the TD, and Willie Wood from TJspeaks tried to intercept when he was guarding Pete Metezalar, the ball bounced off two of his defender and then Jerry Rice runs to steal the ball and goes in for the TD untouched between two defender.

I have beaten Minh plenty of times because we are usually testing teams out against one another but I can not take credit for something that almost happened. Minh beat me both times tonight but he is tired of everyone asking him for games so he wanted to give me the title LOL. I don't accept until i win it fair and square. :)

I think the best way to do it is when the champion is ready to play a game, he comes to this thread and posts that he's ready to defend his title, first person to reply will be able to meet him in the lobby and play the game.

Tough game I'm not a vet playing legend but I did alright

Difference was probably my defense on Lofton I was not going to let him catch anything. He finished the game with 1 catch for 16 yards.

As for the whole who's next thing if your in the lobby the same time I am and I see your on the list we play. If you want to personally schedule a game than we go by the list.

I was just going by the list that Minh had up. He didnt have you on it at all so I added you to it. I think the Champ said he would play whoever is on the list that he see online.

As for the list I only follow it to know who are the challengers. Places,spots and such don't really matter to me. If number 6 on the list is in the lobby than number 6 and I play. I would only follow the list numerically if two or more people from the list are in the lobby at one time as I did when numbski and funky where in the lobby the other day.
