I gotta give Sampson credit! He called the Margarito stoppage of Cotto right down to the round! Take a look at his post, #28.

Yeah Sampson was right on point with his prediction!!! I actually had Cotto by decision but Margarito was just too much for him! I hope Oscar steps up and fights Margarito next!
Excellent call Sampson!

Oh yeah you gotta give sampsonthestrong his props on that call! Shoot he even nailed the round!! I guess the man knows his boxing huh?
I'm with ladyvette too, I hope we see De La Hoya-Margarito. Margarito deserves a big payday with Oscar. Oscar more than likely was gonna fight Cotto anyway had he won, so why not just let Margarito step in and take his place? Makes sense to me!
Hey sampson, got some lotto numbers you can give me bro? :rotfl:
Great call bro!

I'm not giving credit to Sampsonthestrong until he can prove he does not own a delorian. You're not fooling me.........Marty. :rotfl:
Awesome call. It's funny, but I look to the so-called experts in the media to give me some insight and a decent pick, but Sampsonthestrong has got them all beat.
I was way off myself. I said marg by 7th round stoppage. It actually started to look that way to in the last minute of the 7th round.

I thank all you guys (and the lady too, lol!) for the props, but it was just a gut feeling that I had. I know that Cotto is a relentless fighter but he had never faced anyone like Margarito. Margarito took some shots that probably would've KO'd any other welterweight that night. And while I knew that Cotto could box a bit, he doesn't have the foot speed to stay away for 12 rounds and I just figured that sooner or later in the fight Tony would get to him and just wear him down. It was a great fight though, more than likely the fight of the year unless De La Hoya fights Margarito in December and they put on one helluva show. I heard the Margarito called Oscar out at the postfight press conference, let's see if Oscar accepts the challenge.
Hey Payton, I'll have those Lotto numbers for you soon! LOL!! Thanks you guys! Appreciate it!
