Ronnie is there going to be a patch or not? I saw that you posted on the Top Spin 3 threads the other day so I was wondering when we would here from you. The mods have been saying that you would be back soon and I do not need to here that anymore! I just want to here from Ronnie!

I'm so fed up with all these delays and excuses, what on earth are 2K on? they are a total disgrace IMO, and their customer support has to be right up there as the worst around.

All we all want is a patch to fix problems with the game, pretty much every other game gets a patch nowadays without a problem, so why is it that 2K struggle so hard to get anything done, the people working at 2K are fast becoming a total joke IMO, everyone working for 2K comes across as totally clueless.

At the end of the day 2K have known since the release of Prizefighter that things in the game are in desperate need of a fix, so it should not be a case of "IF" there will be a patch, only "WHEN" will there be a patch, and personally I think we have all waited long enough already.

The people working for 2K really need to look closely and just look at how bad they are treating people/customers who have gone out and purchased one of their products in good faith, because this continued lack of support/service from 2K is pathetic and very frustrating.

Considering the amount of time since the game was released I think it's very obvious that the official decision has been made, and that decision was made a long time ago, there will not be a patch for this game.

Everyone just forget about the patch. If there was one coming we would have heard about it by now. With the amount of complaints about the game the first 2 weeks it was out, You would think 2k would have done something.

Just face it everyone we were cheated out of our money. And there is nothing else we can do about it. But I for one will not make that mistake again buying a sports game from 2k if it's not being develope by "VC".

Any other sports game I want from 2k that's not being made by VC. Will end up being rented first. It really upset me most because I've look back and forth all the time for months trying to get news on Prize Fighter....I delt with all the weeks of no "INFO" like evryone else. All that to be disapointed in the end, and what makes it worst is that as a boxing fan we still have yet to get a complete game.

Making us wait once again for someone to get the job done right. Here's to waiting for RD4 and let's hope it turns out to be a great game.

And this is why IMO it's such a shame and so frustrating that 2K will not get a patch released, because your quite right the game is not that bad overall, but a few things still need to be fixed within the game both offline & online, so just imagine how much better the game could be if 2K actually gave a toss and got up of their lazy ar*es and released a patch for all the loyal customers that purchased the game.

But 2K continue to give us all the run around with excuse after excuse, their supposed customer support is a total waste of time and totally useless, and I think 2K are making a huge error not backing up their loyal customers.

I have many Xbox 360 games in my collection and nearly every one of them has had a patch released to improve certain things within the game, so why do 2K find it so difficult to get a patch sorted out and released? they have had plenty of time to get one done by now, personally as I already mentioned I just honestly think it's a case of sheer laziness and now that they have our money they are quite happy just letting all us customers put up with a broken game.

One week later and you guy are still waiting. Trade in value on this game was $18 last week and is now less then that. To the guy that say this game ain't that bad. Dude just the fact that the game adds punches to those thrown and those landed both in off line and online matches is a MAJOR issue. Then there is the HIDDEN LAG problem as the mods are calling it. let us not forget the response from some of the 2ksports rep/mods on this forum. I did not trade in my Prizefighter because word on the patch was taking some time (programming is a long process) I traded it in because of the replies I got from the mods. They said basicly yes the game broken, plays sloppy online, if your not happy go get some of your money back. Now that is some fine customer service. Many years ago I bought a game for my computer, I think it was either a F16 game or a football game. I had trouble getting it to work on my machine. After talking to the folks that published the game I found out that there were compatability issues with my brand of computer, it was a Tandy. The Company said there was not much they could do but they did offer me a 20% discount on any other games once I switched to another brand of computer. That Company was Electronic Arts Later to become EA The longer gamers allow companies to rip them off by giving sloppy games the longer the companies will do it

but to be fair, EA has released WAAY more duds in recent memory than 2k

we are STILL waiting for that truly "next gen " madden

and they have butched the NBA Live and NCAA basketball games so bad since like 2005 its not even funny

to compare companies flaws will lead to no where ....they both have a bunch.....for every good story theres a bad one....let s just keep it on the game...

Ea has stunk it up making sport games too casual IMO.......they say its in the game but then they put all these other ideas which leads to a fun game ....but loses some simulation.

2k sports does so many rights that they get the lil things wrong.....PF has a bunch of lil flaws that makes things weary sometimes....but its still a decent game.....a patch will make it a better one.....which must be hard to do (technically)....

i understand that patches do take a while...but we still havent even gotten a hint of whats going on yet.....you can only hope that they didnt forget about us boxing gaming die hards

truthfully as of right now ....im missing the game a bit ..as much as i miss my xbox..i should have brought it with me to NY.......oh well

It is real easy, just respond with a yes or a no. Example: Is there hidden lag in PF? yes Did 2K mess up with going with Venom Games to make PF? yes Do all of the fighters pretty much fight the same? yes Does PF have potential to be a good boxing game? yes If 2k came out with a patch for PF could it make it a better game? yes Does 2k owe it to its loyal customers to make a patch for PF? yes It is not that hard to answer the question so please just respond yes or no.

Actually I am not waiting for the patch because I know it won't come out. I have just been asking the question about it over and over to annoy 2K. I would be playing this game online if there was no hidden lag though. I really can't wait for Round 4 and UFC. I can't believe how 2K screwed us boxing fans with PF and I can't believe that Ronnie can't just answer a simple question.

Hi! to all,

I have wanted to see a patch released for Prizefighter as much as anyone, and I am from a rare breed of people who actually think Prizefighter has a few good points.

But, I have said for ages now that a patch needs to be released to fix things with the game both offline & online, but even I have now pretty much given up all hope on getting a patch released.

I mean you hardly see the likes of Ronnie or TOMA on these forums anymore simply because now that 2K have got all of our hard earned money for their "unfinished" game they are happy just to forget that the game even exists.

All in all 2K are just **** useless, and I'm totally disgusted with their total lack of customer care/service, 2K are truly pathetic, patches/updates get released nearly every week nowadays for different games by other developer's but 2K can't even manage this
small task so as I already said 2K are a total waste of time/space IMO.
