Ronnie is there really hidden lag online?

I read on these threads that there is hidden lag when we play online matches. Ronnie could you explain what this is and if it really exists in PF?

What I had hoped for was two people here who have recording capabilities to both fight each other and record the fight so that we could see what was going on. You'd see that one guy will be punching the crap out of the next guy on his screen but the other guy wouldn't see any damage, might not even see the punches on his screen. I've talked with plenty of friends online while we're playing the game and what we've seen is that on your screen you may have landed a nice 3 piece combo but on his screen he slipped every punch, you never touched him.

I have injoyed playing online but if this is the case then what is the point of even playing online. That really ticks me off. Alot of people buy games to just play online. Every game says it might not perform online like the game offline but if this is true this is complete crap. They should patch this part of the game on matter what!

No complaints from me man. This game does need a patch if for anything just that alone. Just played a friend of mine who came over and the game is great head-to-head on the same console but online just doesn't cut if for a boxing game where connecting and missing punches is the name of the game.

I want to know if this really exists. If it does I do not see the point in playing online. If on my screen it looks like I landed a punch and on my opponent's screen it shows that they blocked my punch this would be very bad and there has to be a patch for this. If this does exist it would be a complete waste of time to play. I just want to know if this is real and if there will be a patch for it.

in case you havent noticed they are quiet as a mouse on the patch and yes there is hidden lag

callin out ronnie for help will do no good

we've all been trying to get his attention for weeks no only for two generic " no word on a patch" statements

I can't believe they don't just give us a yes or no answer to the patch. That hidden lag crap really ticks me off because I really want to continue to play this game online but what the hell is the point if what you see is not what you really see.

Alot of us have supported this game since release and all we've been told twice like 3 weeks apart is that there is no word on a patch

I hope they have the morality and decency to NOT release this on Wii

it still coming on the wii ...like the 1st quarter 09....

so they'lll be competing with FN4.....who knows? they may actually give us a patch b4 then...lol

No wonder I lost my first match. I outlanded the guy like 3 to one and somehow he still got every round. On his screen he was probably outlanding me.. This explains alot of my questions I had when I used to play this game. I could never lose offline but on rare occasions I would lose a round when I know I shouldn't have online... Interesting
