why do the majority of computer teams have 4 gold 4 silver and 3 bronze players which they are almost impossible to beat

b/c there isn't enough teams to have an even amount of players among each

Well, they have a number of teams without any gold players. I imagine they wanted to have a range of difficulties in their teams, so that you encounter different (or no!) challenges as you play through a season.
...and they're not impossible to beat (although some are very, very hard to at the higher difficulty levels).
