Really though: how difficult would a Downloaded Content Franchise be to create?

I played 2K8 as much as I could, and there's really not a whole lot left for me to do with it. A Franchise Mode, or any sort of downloaded Achievement pack would make the game a lot more interesting to me.

At my local Best Buy, they have a 46 inch high def tv on display, with EA's NCAA College Football 09 hooked up to it.

I normally hate EA games, but I did play the game for a while, and I was tempted to "go to the dark side" simply because it's something new, football wise.

Is it even possible for 2K to release an update that would include a Franchise Mode? I don't think it's going to happen, but I'm curious.

if apf downloaded a franchise? i would cancel my reserved 20th anniverary of madden. because lets be frank this game is getting old without that.

Yep, even the leagues are starting to not be as fun. I'm getting pretty burned out on the game which may be why my "L"s in my W-L column are stacking up. When I don't have as much fun with a game, i generally am not as successful.

When I don't have as much fun with a game, i generally am not as successful.Same here. After 1000+ games, the game is losing it's appeal to me. Too many games, no new version, no support, not even questions answered. All in all, the bugs (which there are few, but the ones that are there are huge) and lack of understanding has ruined the game for me. I quit playing lobby games a couple of months back. I'm in 3 leagues, and will probably reduce that to just one here after the next round of league games.
