I kicked a 53 yarder with Conway the other day, and a 51 with some other generic. Of course, on the 53 I had a 10mph wind almost directly to my back. I played a guy with a gold kicker the other day who was nearly kicking them out of the endzone. I would have liked to see him kick one, but he went for it every 4th down.
What's the longest you've kicked? I'm sure some of you that use bronze kickers have a good one.

The longest I've ever gotten was 52 yards, with a generic (don't know who).

56 yarder in league game with Conway the generic.
Side note: Why have a Gold Kicker if you go for it on 4th downs? Whats the point?

Then you should create the Cincinnati Bowties to go along with them, lol

Taking away the wind factor, generics seem to max out at about 51-52 yards.
Bronze kickers can go back to 55-56.
Silvers I don't know since I've never used them.
Golds can go back to about 61-62.
The kicking system in this game is much better than the Madden system for the simple reason that you can mess up any kick with bad technique; in other words, there are no gimmees.

I have no idea. The guy had his kicker subbed in for returns just for the leadership, but other than that I didn't see the point. At least I think that was the kicker. I never actually checked the name. His other gold was his QB, though, so I doubt he was in there.

I think the longest for me was 51 which was not too long ago with Epstein and a 7 mph wind at his back.

...the kicking system is incomplete. I would like to know how much power was applied (%). I'm 0-3 online, my kicking is the worst online (generic K'er). Since it's been about a year of practice on this game and the game runs a little slower online, it throws my timing off. But, if it says "Perfect & Center" when I kick the ball, why do the commentators say I didn't get all of the ball and my kickoffs land around the 30 yrd line. And offline, some of my FG's keep coming up short (missing 35 yrd'ers with the wind) with generics.

I know what you mean, took me about 20 games to get decent at kicking.

Pull it back smoothly but quickly, then slam that **** forward. Sounds like you've got the timing correct. Now you just gotta get the power.

the kicking in this game is terrible, it says you hit perfect and centered but it goes 20 yards and flying to the right. and on every snap it's always too high or low so it takes 3-4 seconds to get a kick off where in real life it still takes around 1-2 seconds to get a high or low snap kickoff

perfect and centered has nothing to do with power. perfect is timing and centered is aim. all the stuff dealing with the snap of the ball, is YOU.

...I've had "Perfect & Center" kicks go minimal yards (like when the kicker slips in the rain), and "Late/Early & Center" kicks go full range...the angle usually isn't that off, but the distances are inconsistent with generics....no problems with star kickers.

63 yards with conway and a 9 mph wind on my back and pointed right-middle...it hooked toward the left ...cuz it was so long and you could totally tell it got carried...best kick i ever made...game winner in OT. Wolfram stadium. Regardless i don't take conway anymore.

i know i hit perfect and centered and the ball always curves even without wind and whether or not i affect the snap of the ball it's still unrealistic
