I hope they let you try all the controls in the demo, cause as of right now i don't like it. the 2k8 pro-control was great, and now it doesn't look like i can deak up anymore. as of right now all this looks like to me is VC is trying to get EA fan so they have to make controls there already use to. it should be the other way around, because 2k8 controls are the best. you have the most control with 2k8 pro-control. i really hope VC did them in a way to make it better. i will know later today when i get the demo for ps3.

EA skillstick is good ! 2k8 control is poor ! 2k9 hybrid control is COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL !

I've looked over the control schemes for 2k9 and they honestly look terrible. I don't think I'll be shelling out any money for this one.

Actually yes. For the core gameplay, pressing R for a pass, RB for a poke check and up for shooting is pretty intuitive. I'm not saying it's better than 2k8's controls but it's better than 2k9's.

I second that. I think we knew they'd do that to the controls after all the newb's complaining abotu actually learning something sim. Pro control was so sim, hold stick in any position, then aim. People just have to learn how to use the controller, all the reviewers that complained needed to learn from me or you how to use it, then they'd give it a 10 for controls, you just have to hold both your fingers up top, feels like the controller will fall out at first, but it don't, and you get really used to it.

The 2K8 controls are still in the game, try changing it to Pro Stick Evolution, think that's what it's called.
According to a dev interview those are the 2K8 controls, they did not take them out.
