2k please make a controler patch.

inless you get to move the buttons around and turn off that shoot from the right stick thing, i will be holding off on this game. both games this year now have crappy controls. now i have to figure out which of them is less crappy.

it sucks to say this but as of right now the best controls are the classic. for the simple reason that you shoot when you want to shoot. you get zero stick handling inless you use that hold the RB to stick handling. this is a step back 2k, i hope you guys plan on making your game 30 bucks again.

Couldn't you use the Classic controls? They don't have shoot tied to the right stick. Or how about the Hybrid controls?

i do use them now but not cause i want to. also when you use it you can't stick handle with the right stick.

The death of the greatest hockey franchise as we know it. 2K2 brought us individual stadiums, deflections, real sim gameplay. Sure it wasn't flashy with ten replays of one hit, and u couldn't collect cards, but i guess thats all that matters these days. I can't believe 2K could blow it like this. But then again they never fixed those glitches so i guess it was only a matter of time. This is what we went without a roster update for???

EA already ****ed me off, now 2k sounds like they're goin to even more, i guess i'll just start getting good at Forza 2 maybe. I have been playing all the NHL games since Ice hockey on Nintendo, the first NHL licensed game with Wayne Gretzky's hockey, and of course NHL hockey for Sega Genesis. I was hoping to do the tourney this year, i dunno i guess i gotta wait a few more weeks and give them both a try. I know EA's will look better, and the AHL teams are always tempting, the online RPG aspect sounds cool, but on ice sim gameplay is where i'll go. Must....not...let...flashyness....and arcade fun....influence my decision. I'm sim al the way.

Once again, you spread false claims - 2K8s Pro Stick is none of the three control schemes in 2K9. Sadly, Gamespot and one guy from VC (I think) got it wrong back then.
I played the demo, checked the settings and know what's in it and not.
